Paragraph tags around <div> blocks
...as NOT handling markdown the closing </div> in the non-working cases. Markdown couldn't find a closing tag to match the opening tag, therefore it must be text, and gets wrapped in <p> tags. [Proposal] Introducing the concept of invalid costs to the IR cost model
Hi Chris, Thanks for the reply. My email was really to just ask if people were ok with the idea in principle and I kind of deliberately avoided getting into too many details at this point. If people are happy with the idea in principle I can push a patch up soon that shows what such a class could like so that people can comment on it? Regards, David Sherwood. Any reason to *not* use AEL? (Also, MixMonitor q)
I am building a new Asterisk server here at the office, and I'm wondering if there are any downsides to creating my dialplan with AEL. It seems more intuitive (to me), but I'm not sure if there are any pitfalls I need to be aware of first. We use this for internal extensions, 8 pots lines, and our answering service which gets about 500 incoming calls a day down our T1. Also, one more

[Proposal] Introducing the concept of invalid costs to the IR cost model
Makes sense. I personally greatly prefer having a type rather than a `static constexpr int CostUnfathomable = 10000`. I think the type should have arithmetic operators defined such that an "invalid cost" on either side results in an invalid cost (similar to how NaN infects floats), and an implicit conversion that constructs a valid cost. Then I could just do: ``` Cost c = 7; // c is a

Sipura Devices and Asterisk?
I'm currently using the Linksys PAP2, and since there's a shortage I'm looking for different devices. I'm mainly looking at the Sipura SPA sets since they are the base of the pap2. Anyone else have experience using them, and which one? Thanks Sherwood McGowan -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Including external files
I quite often find myself making documents that pull together other fragmentary documents. Does anyone have suggestions for an include or embed syntax? I.e. a way of saying "pull in the contents of document X here". Has this been implemented before? Such a syntax might be: (embed: snippet.txt) or [include](snippet.txt) Your thoughts? Best regards, - Daniel

New List of implementations.
Hey everyone. Just and FYI that I started a list of markdown implementations: https://github.com/markdown/markdown.github.com/wiki/Implementations Please review and make any corrections/additions. The page should be publicly editable as long as you have a github account. Note that this is a list of _libraries_, which differentiates it from wikipedia's list [1]. For example, mmd2pdf is a

[Proposal] Introducing the concept of invalid costs to the IR cost model
Hi, I'd like to propose a change to our cost interfaces so that instead of returning an unsigned value from functions like getInstructionCost, getUserCost, etc., we instead return a wrapper class that encodes an integer cost along with extra state. The extra state can be used to express: 1. A cost as infinitely expensive in order to prevent certain optimisations taking place. For example,

DTMF and "breaking through" voice prompts
Has anyone else had problems with users being able to press key tones during a voice prompt? I have a few users complaining that some systems will not recognize key presses during them. using current CVS-HEAD, linksys PAP2 UA's, rfc2833 dtmf mode. wrong from URI in options message
I recently configured a SIP peer which i must specify my fromuser as my ten digit "DID". I send calls to this peer, but whenever Asterisk sends an options message, the fromuser is "asterisk". Is this a bug? Or is there some other config I must make ? register = 2155551941:123456 at 10.0.138.226/2155551941~600 [peer](!) type=peer context=inbound qualify=yes

Hello
New to mailing lists and Markup as well so please bear with me. I have been looking for two things. A project management system that syncs with Notational Velocity as well as something that lets me write and format script in plain text, then have that converted to the proper formatting for a script. I was wondering would Markdown have the ability to do this or have the changes necessary for this?

Asterisk and RTP streams
Guys, I've been poking around trying to find a good answer for this via voip-info, google, etc... Haven't found anything that helps, so maybe you mates could. A lot of my customers are using Linksys UAs (router/ATA PAP2) and some using Sipura SPA-2002s. Every once in a while, the customer will get one-way audio. I've read that this is commonly caused by the outgoing RTP port not

Community Group for Markdown Standardization
FYI, There was an interest from a few people to create a formalization of Markdown as it is currently implemented. A W3C Community Group has been created for moving forward and exploring the idea and create a spec if necessary. A W3C Community Group [1] is a platform for discussing, publishing about a topic. You just need a free public W3C account [2] The community markdown group [3] has
