I tried looking through the code but I haven't found anything that would
cause these disconnects, I do see where it tries to reconnect though. Does
anybody else have any other ideas about this?
Thanks!

I'll see what I can do about installing a minimal build onto these machines
to see if something changes.
Thanks!

These machines are exact replicas of each other and are fairly old and have
a Core 2 Duo E8400 CPU in them. Is there anything else you need or anything
I can do to help fix this? Thanks!

If you run lsusb several times, does it still work? The exact output of lsusb isn't as important as whether anything gets logged by the kernel. Running lsusb shouldn't...

We do have a USB analyzer so I'll see if that can be used to determine if
the UPS is disconnecting due to inactivity on the bus.
Thanks!

Not intentionally, no. The reconnection code is meant to clean up after these disconnection events, but it is something that isn't expected all that frequently.

Tripp-Lite USB constantlly disconnecting.
Hey, was wondering if I could get a quick sanity check. We have a SmartUPS
1500 RM2U which we have connected to a box via USB. It seems like every
40-45 seconds it becomes disconnected and reconnected. Though this only
happens when we have NUT enabled, otherwise it's fine. When it is
disconnecting and reconnecting running lsusb doesn't show it disconnecting.
After having it sit like that

Configuring APC Smart-UPS 2200 on two computers
I have a dual controller box similar to this -
http://www.supermicro.com/products/system/3U/6037/SSG-6037B-DE2R16L.cfm
On one controller I have Nut configured and working as a server. On the
other side I'm trying to configure Nut as a slave to query the other side
and for some reason it's not working. I'm getting this error:

Connecting to Tripp-Lite SNMPWEBCARD
Hey! I was wondering if anybody has had any luck getting a Tripp Lite UPS
with the SNMPWEBCARD working with NUT?
I haven?t been able to get it working using the same steps I did getting an
APC unit working. I have been able to get snmpwalk to work with SNMP 1 so
theoretically it should work for at least that snmp v1. We are using Centos
6.4 with NUT version nut-2.6.5-2.el6.src.rpm. We currently

AP9630 AES Support
Hello again! Your suggestions the other day did work so thank you! I do
have one more question for you guys though. APC AP9630 SNMP monitoring card
is listed in the HCL and next to it there is privProtocol = AES. Does this
mean only AES works or AES doesn't work? I saw the archived mailing lists
were it looked like it only worked with the AES protocol, though in my set
up it works with
