samba server with two kerberos realms
Hi Rowland, > Are you using sssd or nslcd ? I am using sssd. I can ssh into the server using credentials from either kerberos realm. E.g. ssh cwseys at PHYSICS.WISC.EDU@smb01.physics.wisc.edu (works) ssh seys at AD.WISC.EDU@smb01.physics.wisc.edu (works) PHYSICS.WISC.EDU is an MIT kerberos KDC. AD.WISC.EDU is a active directory KDC (etc). The reason I thought sssd would be best is because I want to use the /etc/passwd file for user existence...

samba server with two kerberos realms
...to > > ditch it! > > I am not saying that sssd won't work for what you are trying to do, you > are just asking this in the wrong place, try the sssd-users mailing list. It seems to me that samba is the sticking point. If REALM=AD.WISC.EDU I can gain access to samba shares with seys at AD.WISC.EDU, but not cwseys at PHYSICS.WISC.EDU. If REALM=PHYSICS.WISC.EDU, cwseys at PHYSICS.WISC.EDU can gain access, but seys at AD.WISC.EDU can not. I change nothing else besides REALM= in smb.conf . My guess is that Samba is using REALM=BLAH to check only principals in the keytab whos...

client max protocol = SMB3 ?
Hi All, The man page for smb.conf says that 'client max protocol = default' is the same as 'client max protocol = NT1' for the HEAD samba version. Is there some reason I should not change that to SMB3? Thanks! Chad.

Literature analysis
Dear all, i am new in R. I am writing a review paper about batteries. However, i am interested in analyzing all the papers by keywords, author, references and year. This could be done by "refviz" a software, which is only running on windows machines and which is not free. So my question to you is, is it somehow possible to write a script that can do all of this work? And if yes, with

[Re: tcltk loading in R-2.2.1 from src]
Hi, I believe configure was not finding tk.h, because tk-devel rpm was not available on the given host. Thanks Erik and Peter for the suggestions on checking tk.h and stdout of ./configure. Just one further question for Peter> "Well, the package is there, as a stub to tell you that it doesn't work...." So then how can you confirm from the library() output (or elsewhere) if

per share way to not follow msdfs links
...by default and is per-share. [myshare] msdfs root = no path = ... Should do the trick. HTB prio: global or per class ?
Hi all, Is the prio specification in the htb class global or is it on a per class basis ? A simple example: class 1:10 parent 1: class 1:100 parent 1:10 prio 3 class 1:200 parent 1:10 prio 7 class 1:201 parent 1:200 prio 1 class 1:202 parent 1:200 prio 2 Which class will get excessive bandwidth first? 100 or 201/202 ? _______________________________________________ LARTC mailing list

Is this a bug in R?
Dear all, I am trying to fit a nonlinear model with a autocorrelation term, but everytime I type in the command, I got an error message from Winwows and R closes itself. The command line is as follows: mod1<-nlme(V~A*exp(-B*A.O)*Vac.t.1.,data,fixed=A+B~1,random=A+B~1|ORDINAL,+ correlation=corCAR1(0.3179,~A.O|ORDINAL,TRUE),start=c(A=1.2,B=0.2)) I have already fitted this model allowing Phi to

macintosh disconnect problem

The preexec / postexec hooks mentioned at https://unix.stackexchange.com/a/478881/275843 work well for this. I see Mac clients disconnecting when they have problems, but haven't yet correlated that occurrence to
