Hi, I''ve noticed that facter.domain under linux returns the dnsdomain, and under solaris it returns the LDAP/NIS domain, as this it self is not a problem, I was assuming that puppet first certificate request is based on that fact. as this is not big issue, I would prefer that puppet will request the certificate with the dns name and not the LDAP domain name... any idea how to implement

The example I had this morning was someone trying to call extension 212 and getting connected to the Sales queue which is option 2 on the IVR. I looked in our log and it seems like there was a seventeen second delay between the caller pressing the last 2 and when Asterisk acknowledged it. By that time, Asterisk had decided that "21" wasn't a valid extension and the subsequent "2" dropped the caller into the Sales queue. I did my best to search for this issue in the archive...

I am a student and am trying to get a mail server setup for a project. I have all of the Postfix configuration taken care of, but I am confused by the way that authentication works with Dovecot in the mix. As a user of the system, am I supposed to authenticate myself to Postfix, Dovecot, both individually, or both together? My Postfix users are stored in a PostgreSQL database, should Dovecot also

Next, I removed the cron type from the manifest. The result was that, while the entry was no longer in the yaml file, the cron entry was not removed!
