Direct Media and message "SIP/SipAgent-00000bf9 requested media update control 26, passing it to SIP/ead14-00000bfb"
Hello, I have the following construction : Provider --> SipAgent (asterisk) --> Asterisk Server_A --> IP-phone (Snom 370) If a call comes in from the "Provider" to my SipAgent, then my SipAgent send the call to the correct Asterisk Server_A (dialplan logic based on number). unregistered trunks and registered phones coming from the same IP
...s. Now I've configured the SBC to also act as a registration proxy, forwarding SIP registrations coming from the Internet to my asterisk servers. It all seems fine, but it doesn't work well, because by the time at least one phone registers through the SBC to some asterisk server (lets say, server_A), future incoming calls coming from my SIP telco trunks to my server_A got refused by the asterisk running on that server, with "401 Unauthorized" messages back to the SBC. Seems like that since the moment asterisk binds some contact to the IP of the SBC, because it registered through it,...

UPS Groups?
...hosted at the same upsd. With only one upsmon per upsd, each upsmon is in "master" mode - there are no slaves yet. UPS A1 -> Server A-1 PSU 1 \ > driver -> upsd -> upsmon UPS A2 -> Server A-1 PSU 2 / In this case, upsmon would monitor UPS_A1 at Server_A-1 and UPS_A2 at Server_A-1. Let's say you add a Server A-2 to the group. If you don't mind ensuring that server A-1 is up all the time (e.g. if there are other critical processes already running on it), you could just make A-2 a slave to the upsd on A-1. (Trust me, my ASCII art skills are...

UPS Groups?
I've used nut for simple configurations before but now one has grown to a more complex setup and can't seem to find any info online. I would like to have single central nut master monitor a bank of UPSs for a whole rack of servers with redundant PSUs. So UPS A1 ---> Server group A PSU 1 UPS A2 ---> Server group A PSU 2 UPS B1 ---> Server group B PSU 1 UPS B2 ---> Server

Stuck here - help please
Thank you for the reply. I have done the sync manually with "doveadm sync" command. But, I have not configured the replication yet. I am looking at the below webpage for the replication. https://wiki.dovecot.org/Replication I am using the dovecot version "2.2.36". I am confused with what needs to be done after reading that page. 1. They are talking about v2.3.1 and v2.2+.

...for user vmail (passwordless authentication) on both servers. > 2. Also, do I need to set the replication on both of my servers the same and as it is? On server A) you should configure mail_replica = remote:vmail at server_B and on server B) you should configure mail_replica = remote:vmail at server_A If you skip B) and new mail arrives on B) it is not immediately synced to A) In that case you would have to wait until a mail gets synced from A) (you remember sync is bidirectional) Best regards Gerald -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
