It doen't seem to be anyting seriuos but I get this when crosscompiling not otherwise.

Ext3 fatal errors with Promise RAID
Today our server had seriuos problems, we had to reinitiate it and run fsck
manually.
Dou you think it's an ext3, kernel (vanilla 2.4.19) or hardware bug?
The errors were (from syslog):

Asterisk server suddenly fronzen after many zapter errors

We're Zap/9-1, not Zap/2-1
and finally the server gets totallty frozen (not only asterisk) and the
only way to recover is a full reboot.
Not sure how or if this is related to the new harddisk settings but we
made the changes last friday and this (seriuos) problem happened tuesday
and thursday (today) this week.
The settings we have now in our harddisks is using udma2 with the
following settings as show with hdparm:
dev/hda:
multcount = 16 (on)
IO_support = 3 (32-bit w/sync)
unmaskirq = 0 (off)
using_dma = 1 (on)
keepsettings...

3.0.0->3.0.1 = 2 problems - outlook & browsing fails
...a few minutes, I could open that machines share list,
but when trying later, again failed.
At the moment I downgraded my PDC to 3.0.0 and things started to work again.
I'm able to open my mailbox, browse other win machines.
Samba logs (log level 3) or windows event viewer doesn't show any seriuos
errors...
For about 10 times today (after user login):

Desperate -- I'll even pay -- winbind/samba -- challenge/response password authentication failed
No kidding folks, I need to get this working and am willing to pay money
for useful help!
I'm having problems getting "challenge/response password authentication
failed" with the command "wbinfo -a DOM+W2kusername%password". I
presume this will prevent me from using my Windows usernames and
passwords to log into my Linux box.
My environment is a newly configured Redhat
