Hi, I'm trying to get an Effekta UPS (works directly with blazer_ser) working behind a seriell to ethernet converter (Brainboxes ES-246). I've set the converter to 2400 baud, 8N1, no flow control. On the linux side I started socat and blazer_ser. All I got are timeouts after 12 seconds. I can see network traffic with tcpdump but I've no idea what to do to get this working. Does any...

Dear List, I am trying to plot date vs. time, but am having problems getting my y-axis labels how I want them.? When left on its own R plots time at 6 hour intervals from 03:00 to 23:00.? I am wanting 6 hour intervals from 2:00 to 22:00.? I realize yaxp doesn't work in plot(), so I am trying to get it to work in par().? However, now I get the ticks where I want them but the time is output

Hello. I have an cheap seriell to usb adapter with the Prolific chipset hooked on my mac, but I don't know which tty to configure. OS X regognizes the device in its system profiler. /dev/ttys0 seems wrong. Can someone please enlighten me? Thank you for your help! Greetings, Robert Welz

Well, after having given up uppon serial communication from hotsync.exe to the Palm Vx, I decided to try network communication instead. I am able to perform a complete hotsync even with Netscape Calendar synchronization. I am not doing anything special to make it work but it is not straight forward, neither. Hi, I have a HP R1500 G2 UPS and want to get it working under Debian Lenny - as this OS is not supported by HP I'm trying to use nut for it - but I can't get it working. Do I have any chance to get the UPS running with nut. I also tried different drivers but had no luck either. Or does anyone has experience with HP UPS under debian ? Any help would be nice !
