Hello there, I got a small problem about logical calculation: we can get a sequene from a+b as below: > a<-c(1,2) > b<-c(3,4) > a+b [1] 4 6 but when the sequences are logical. (I want to get (True,False) && (True, True) ==> (True, False), but when I do as below. > e<-c(T,T) > f<-c(F,T) > e [1] TRUE TRUE > f [1] FALSE TRUE...

frequency, count rows, data for heat map
Hi all, I have read posts of heat map creation but I am one step prior -- Here is what I am trying to do and wonder if you have any tips? We are trying to map sequence reads from tumors to viral genomes. Example input file : 111 abc 111 sdf 111 xyz 1079 abc 1079 xyz 1079 xyz 5576 abc 5576 sdf 5576 sdf How may xyz's are there for 1079 and 111? How many abc's, etc? How many times did reads from sample (1079) align to virus xyz....

Multiple comparisons when interacction]
...d block be considered as random? We use the same file and randomization every year. We are interested in the long term effect of the treatment. - Data should be considered as repeated measurements over time (years)? In multcomp package: - What is the equivalence between the tests proposed ("Sequen", "AVE", "Changepoint", "Williams", "Marcus", "McDermott") and the tests agronomist are used to do: LSD (least significant difference), Duncan multiple range test, Scheffe, S-N-K (Student-Newman-Keuls)? Thanks a lot for your interest. Jorge...

Multiple comparisons when interacction
In the model: lm.1 <- lm(variable ~ BLOC + TIL * YEAR , data=selvanera) I found TIL*YEAR interaction significant. Then I am trying to compare means of the different levels of TIL inside every YEAR using: mc.2 <- glht(lm.1, linfct = mcp(TIL*YEAR="Tukey")) summary(mc.2, test = univariate()) but it does not work. There is any way of doing this, like the SLICE option in

...dels. We use the unifying representations of multiple contrast tests, which include all common multiple comparison procedures, such as the many-to-one comparisons of Dunnett, the all-pairwise comparisons of Tukey and many other procedures. We provide a list of 9 standard procedures (Dunnett, Tukey, Sequen, AVE, Changepoint, Williams, Marcus, McDermott, Tetrade), where the user selects the comparisons of his interest. In addition, a free input interface for the contrast matrix allows for more special comparisons. The comparisons itself are not restricted to balanced or simple designs. Instead, the...
