Dear all, I'm having a problem understanding why a split does not occur with in the 2nd use of the function strsplit below: # text strings > txt <- c("sales to 23 August 2008 published 29 August", + "sales to 6 September 2008 published?11 September") # first use > strsplit(txt, 'published', fixed=TRUE) [[1]] [1] "sales to 23 August 2008 " " 29 August" [[2]] [1] "sales to 6 September 2008 " "?11 September" # second use, but with a space ' ' in the...

Streaming MoH on 1.4
Hi, I've looked high and low for any changes that streaming MoH needs on Asterisk 1.4 (.21), followed NerdVittle's article about it (http://nerdvittles.com/index.php?p=92) yet nothing worked. After creating dir stream/ and touch stream.mp3, here's my musiconhold.conf [stream] mode=mp3 directory=/var/lib/asterisk/mohmp3/stream stream =>

Designating a new year (Sept-Aug) in R
If I have data (below) and need some help in figuring out how I can change the values of my date column, so that a year will be from September-August? So the year 1990 = September 89-August 90; 1991 = September 90-August 91, etc... I was trying to use the if() function, but am unable to figure it out. I basically need to change the years associated with September-December to the following year. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

[7.0.0 Release] Schedule proposal
Hello everyone, There's plenty of time before the release process starts, but I'd like to begin the schedule discussion. For the September release we usually branch mid-July. However, this year my vacation runs a little later, so a good branch date for me would be the 1st of August. Proposal: - 1 August 2018: Branch; RC1 soon after - 22 August 2018: RC2; all lose ends should be tied up by now - 5 September; final tag, release a fe...

[LLVMdev] Proposal for ""llvm.mem.vectorize.safelen"
...d will be clarified - in order to support safelen() and even the simd construct itself, LLVM will require infrastructure work to know when a lexically backwards dependence may have been introduced. [LLVMdev] LLVM 3.3.1 Release Plans
Hi, The number of stable patches has slowed down in the last few weeks, and we are approaching the halfway point between 3.3 and 3.4, so I think now is a good time to start planning for the 3.3.1 release. Here is the tentative schedule: September 3: 3.3.1-rc1 - This won't actually be a 'real' Release Candidate. The purpose of rc1 will be to update and test the release scripts and build system to make sure they work properly with dot releases. I will still accept stable patches until rc2 September 10: 3.3.1-rc...

[LLVMdev] Reminder: LLVM 2.8 Branching on September 3rd
This is a reminder that the branch date for the LLVM 2.8 release is next Friday (September 3rd). September 3rd is not the final date for code submissions. We will allow submissions t...
