Hi, Here's the scenario. I want to set up a mailbox so that when mail sent to the address is piped to a processing application, instead of going to a mailbox. One way I can do this is to set up a mailbox and then have an application that checks to see if there's mail and then processes it. (Old school Unix script) Is there a way to set it up with dovecot? One reason was that I wanted to set up virtual users for the domain so I don?t need to create user accounts just mail accounts. (Its all in cur subdirectory.) Now I did notice that when Postfix gets a mail message, its placed in /var/spool/mail/msegel which would imply its using an mbox format. So what am I missing? I?m getting the following error: warning: cannot get RSA certificate from file /etc/pki/dovecot/certs/<mycert>.pem: disabling TLS support The problem is that <mycert>.pem isn?t an RSA ticket, but a X509 certificate. The RSA ticket is in /etc/pki/dovecot/private directory. I checked both files and they are good certificates.

mbox is not recommended for new setups unless you have very good reason to do so. Use maildir or sdbox.
