7.1 panic "vm_page_startup: inconsistent page counts"
I'm trying to upgrade an 11 month old FreeBSD 7 image in a VMware 4.5.2 guest to an up-to-date -stable and it panics as above. I've added a printf to report the two counts and there's a difference of one page. I don't have any problems with the old 7-stable image or up-to-date 6-stable or -current using the same VMware version. A screendump for a verbose boot can be found at

howto improve sharpeness of fonts in a jpg-image produced by R ?
Hi. I've done a standard barplotexample using R1-8.0, redhat8, probably using a GhostScript-integration. How can I improve the "sharpness" of the fonts. See for example the barplot (originally jpg coming from R) which is part of this screendump: http://www.zug.dk/Members/Nielssteenkrogh/1067525916309553166/element_103003161029 I'm not sure where to improve the this. Panic with EL7 KVM guest on EL6 host on AMD server with latest kernel
Hi, I have AMD servers running CentOS 6.10 as KVM host and on it guests running CentOS 7.5. Since the latest kernel update on CentOS 6.10, kernel-2.6.32-754.2.1.el6.x86_64, I can't boot the CentOS 7.5 guests with kernel-3.10.0-862.6.3.el7.x86_64 anymore. Reverting CentOS 6.10 host to kernel-2.6.32-754.el6.x86_64 fixes the problem. Screendump of the panic is attached, not very helpful I

Pegasus Mail, Samba and Qmail - mail without POP3 in LAN!
.... Note that this message have passed through this system. Look in headers. It is working! http://www.cor.neva.ru/~aal/pegas/pegas+qmail-1_0.tar.gz (7k) The file contains the patch against qmail 1.03, source of sendmail launcher, a piece of Samba configuration ("mailqueue printer"), screendumps of gateway configs. Pegasus MAil itself and Samba are in its usual places. I believe. Note that at the present time the rest of referred webpage is 99% Russian, because it is related to Pegasus maintenance in Cyrillic environment. Hey everyone, I'm running a fresh installation of Wine 1.2.3 under Ubuntu 11.04. I've successfully installed Arena Simulation (version 12.0, under a student license), software by Rockwell Automation. However, when I try to run the program, this comes up (click for full size): [Image: http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/1651/screenshot4kz.th.png ]

Domain login delays w2k8 R2
Hello! We have a w2k8 R2 64-bit machine in a Samba 3.4.4 controlled domain. When logging in as a domain user there is a ~30 sec delay waiting for the User Profile Service. This has nothing to do with the size of the user profile. Looking at the network traffic I can see 2 gaps, the first about 11 sek and the second about 19 sek with no packets sent except one TCP ACK (from the client) in each

several VMs have suddenly quit working, in VBox.
Hi all! I have several VMs, all in virtualbox 6.0.14 and all the VBOX add-ons are up to date. I don't use them daily, last used any of them probably 4-6 weeks ago, pretty sure it was already running 6.0.14 by that time. they were all fine when last used. Two of them are C7, one is a clone of the other, and the other is C8. each seems to have different symptoms. the C7 clone claims there
