IBM Article: DB2 on Rails
I often forward IBM DeveloperWorks articles about RoR to this list.
This is a new well-written ''Intermediate'' article using DB2 with Rails:

Hope this helps.
Cheers
Mohit.

Problem with UUID generated in partial not being unique
...initially it puts one product line in place. It has
a UUID value. When I click my link to add a new line, it has a different
UUID : but adding any further rows still use this second value.
Is there some sort of caching going on ? Or is there some other reason ?
TIA
Phil

schema for a music store that offers products with options (i.e.
Filetype, Length)

Database Triggers?
Hi,
I''m new to RoR and exploring its use with an existing application. One
thing I can''t seem to find much detail on is using database triggers.
All RoR examples and tutorials I''ve seen are very basic saving data back
to a single table. My use case includes a somewhat denormalized DB that
uses triggers to store data in multiple tables on occassion. I

HELP - My Programmers are AWOL !!
I hired a friend of a friend to build my company a fairly substantial
application. He quoted it, committed to it, and now says he has run out
of money.
I''ve offered him additional money/incentives ...twice. He continues to
commit, and then, ultimately not make his commitment.
I''m not sure what my options are.
Ideally, I would like to simply fire him and hire someone to
