IAX and NAT
Hi,
I know that IAX also works between networks using NAT, but SIP or H.323
doesn't. I wonder what is the reason for this behavior? Is there a
difference between this protocols acccording to NAT?
Thanks in advance!
Holger

OT: programming language for morons (newbie friendly language in Open Source world)
Hi folks
I have more than 12 years experience with UNIX system administration,
but I am too stupid for programming. My only programming experience is
shell scripting. I tried to learn Java, but don't understand it
because it is too complicated for my limited brainpower.
What programming language should I learn?
A friend said that C-Sharp (Mono) is very simple. Is this true?

Crash in settings parser (assertion failed: (src_count == ccount))
Lutz Schildt posted this to the Gentoo bugzilla recently:

There's a backtrace and conf files attached. I was able to find this

** Note well at this point:- I'm **NOT** a qualified or experienced

wading through Herb Schildt's "Teach Yourself C" so this project is perhaps
an over-ambitious second step up from the "...int main()..., printf("Hello

Linux-IAX-Client
Hi,
is there another IAX-CLient for Linux beside Gnophone?
The problem with Gnophone is, when there is an incoming call. There is
no pop-up-window or any sound that caughts my attention.
So calls easily remain unanswerd.
Or can I configure Gnophone in the desired way?
Thx,
Holger
