Samba 3.5.9 with Windows 2008 R2
Hi All,
We're going to upgrade our DCs to Windows 2008 R2 native mode soon, so we're facing with the challenge that how to get our samba servers (Solaris 8 & Solaris 10) work with Windows 2008 R2 native mode. I've compiled Samba 3.5.9 with AD support. Then I installed and configured the binaries on my 3 test machines (one Solaris 8 and two Solaris 10). The strange problem is one

net rpc rights list - could not connect to server 127.0.0.1
I had already checked these files (smb.conf, krb5.conf, hosts) and they
match each other, but the error still appears...
Is there anything else I can check?
Thanks

But this command returns me the rights list of administrator in AD DC. I
need the "rights list" of administrator in "MEMBER2".
Here some tests:
*From MEMBER2:

Newbie
Hello,
I'm a bit new to the world of R so forgive my ignorance. I'm trying to do a zero-inflated negative binomial regression and have received an error message and i'm not sure what it means. I'm running R 2.5.1 on XP. I have just tried a really simple version of the model to see if it would run before I put all the variables in. I have attached all the variables to the

perl updates always break perl programs, how to fix?
I realize this is my fault because once upon a time I installed a package
using CPAN and probably other admins on the system have as well but now
whenever I update perl I have to jump through hoops to get perl applications
to work again (usually updating Scalar::Util and another package with CPAN).
I would love to figure out how to fix this so it's not such a headache to
keep up to date with

Simple example of decoding streaming audio realtime?
Conrad,
That's exactly what I was looking for. I just got finish trying several attempts at porting libfishsound to XCode/CocoaTouch land but am facing dependency issues on the other xiph libraries. (liboggz, libvorbis, libflac, etc.) Rest assured I know what the issues are and how to address them. I am at a fork here. I can either port the bulk of the xiph libraries to XCode or continue on

Relationships, relationships, relationships!
If I had my very own sweaty, wind-up Ballmer
(http://www.ntk.net/ballmer/mirrors.html warning: mind-scarring
video), that is what he would be saying:
"Relationships, relationships, relationships!!"
My unscientific polling of the traffic in #rubyonrails and here is
that, second to deployment issues, this is the bigges FAQ for Rails:
how to do relationship x in ActiveRecord.

''Code table'' best practices?
I''ve been going back and forth about this kind of thing for a while.
I reverse my opinion on it every project, and I''m wondering if anyone
has any advice/battle scars to share. As usual, please forgive my
long-windedness in advance.
Let''s say I have this:

public IP for VM
I can't seem to figure out how to setup a public IP for the VM so we
could use it as a second public webserver. The host machine runs our
primary webserver with CentOS 6.9 and one public ipv4 address configured
on physical interface eth0. Now i have configured a new bridge
interface br0:
DEVICE=br0
TYPE=Bridge
BOOTPROTO=static
The IP settings are for a second public ipv4 address in the

SASL authentication
...laced in a $HOME. It's as if it were
/etc/passwd based, but the passwords are different.
I would very much like to migrate this into a system which supports
multiple domains and this Wiki seems to be the best means for that.
However, I didn't use SASL authentication. I was emotionally scarred
trying to use SASL with a venture with Cyrus-IMAP under different
circumstances.
Could someone explain why SASL is a good thing in this case?
Does it allow for something more, lead into future developements?
Most of the rest of this general paper I do understand, but the SASL is
the only part w...
