I have moved from the CentOS 4.4 kernel to a 2.6.16.29 kernel.org kernel due to some vm problems I was having. All has gone well except that my free memory now sits at 150MB. I have a dual Xeon 3.2GHz XDMCP server serving out about 50 Gnome desktops to thin clients. I currently am running 32 bit with 4GB of memory. Performance is fine, normally, and the machine runs with about 3GB in swap. However, I am finding that using lockPref() in firefox.js silently fails... and causes all directives that come after it in the file to be ignored.
