Routing - newbie question about shorting the url
Hi
Right now I have my url showing as the following:
http://localhost/categories/italian/recipes/special-pasta-sauce
I would like it to be:
http://localhost/categories/italian/special-pasta-sauce
(or even http://localhost/italian/special-pasta-sauce)
my category model has_many :recipes and my recipes model
belongs_to :category (for the purposes of my test project a recipe
can only belong to one category)
Is t...

Administrative mailbox deletions
...ave been kept.
A simple shell script takes care of most of it, BUT.... (there's always
a "but" isn't there?)
One user has named all his mailboxes with leading hyphens.
ie:
-foo
-bar
-bazz
and "doveadm mailbox delete" doesn't like it.
Does anyone have the magic sauce needed to escape the - character?
Thanks in advance

Secure VNC access from iPad
...#39;d love to know how it's done. I have tried
using the iSSH application, but without success.
I know that the server is accessible from a Windows client (using
TigerVNC), via an SSH tunnel, so the server is properly configured.
If you have a working example, please let me know what magic sauce you used.
Thanks

How to number extensions - Which way is best?

What would be a wise choice for your extension numbering if you were just
setting up a new system?
Is there a "better to use" set of extensions, that avoids confusion with
dialing of external numbers.

Or perhaps, I am way off base. Does asterisk have some magic sauce that
makes this a moot issue?
Thanks in advance.

repo.or.cz links are no longer valid.
...g for an announce that
`git clone SOME_URL` is ready.
When git cloning and git pulling is possible, then I'm happy.
A web view on the repo is low priority to me. My advice in this:
* Let the migration stablize
* Wonder how much HTML caching there is
* Find contact with maintainers of the web sauce

Monkey Audio Open Source?
...g Open

that would be great... the list of usable OS audio codecs
is pretty small and more sharing of ideas would be good.
but I don't think it's going to happen. both lpac and
mac guys have said this before and it never comes to pass.
I think the idea of publishing the secret sauce recipe must
be too painful.

outbound I get 403 Forbidden coming back. I've been through every
configuration setting I can see, and Uncle Google is not helping me much. I
updated the firmware to the current version, and that didn't help.
If anyone has this working, I would like to know the secret sauce.

Printing in Wine 20050725
...ust in case, but the home-built version had the same behavior.
I have noticed that people regularly mention printing problems on this mailing list, but haven't come across a case that sounds like this one. Given all the changes in 20050725 with the new winecfg tool, is there some 'secret sauce' that is now needed to enable printing from wine?
Thx in advance,
FWY

Serial connections?
...ns. I'm not sure how sockets work, but possibly there is a way
to pipe things to a buffer and read from a buffer in bash (in my linux
mind I have the thought of trying to redirect /dev/something to a
file, or symlinking a file to point to the hardware, but know that
there has to be some secret sauce to go from streaming in to a
readable file, but don't know what the missing components are).
Thoughts?

[LLVMdev] Building libLLVMSupport library - special tricks?
...t have that libLLVMSupport library built.
Last night, tried the build of clang a few different ways to get that library built - including specifying the --gcc-toolchain option. No Joy!
Which of the clang/llvm source trees provides it? or is it in another source package? tools? Is there a Special Sauce which I must cook up?

Resource Scope
I can''t work this out and I''m getting frustrated. :(
Puppet is complaining:
err: Failed to apply catalog: Could not find dependency
Lvm::Volume_group[bcvg] for Lvm::Application_volume[cache] at
/truth/sauce/env/prod/modules/object_store/manifests/server.pp:47
Yet, if I comment out that line so that puppet runs ok, and then look
at the state.yml file on the client, I see:
"Lvm::Volume_group[bcvg]":
!ruby/sym checked: 2012-10-08 17:05:45.117364 +00:00
Now, according to the puppet docs...

put some IVR into a queue after the call queuing

4) Queue D
...periodic-announce
- context set to xxxxxxx
[xxxxxxx]
1,1,Queue D
2,1,Goto (.....IVR to be recalled)
3,1,Goto (.... transfer)
And then manually match information between unique ID and queue_log to
consider info on queue A,B,C,D, as a single queue.
Or is there some magic sauce to specify an "IVR script" that is
executed when a call is in a queue?
Thanks

Email Alerts for Multiple UPSs with upssched
This was the secret sauce! I first modified my BASH script to stuff the output of the 'set' command into a variable, then passed that variable in to my email command. Then I triggered an event and saw what variables were there in the body of the message.
Voila!
$UPSNAME and $NOTIFYTYPE were there and available....

[PLUGIN] rspec_resource_generator - RESTful scaffold generator with RSpec specifications
...model spec file. In addition, it gives you a RESTful controller with
all the actions filled in, and a complete specification for the
controller. Views are all hooked up too.
Generate the code, run the migration, and you''ve got 26 passing
RESTful controller specifications. Salt and hot sauce to taste.
http://svn.flpr.org/public/plugins/rspec_resource_generator/
Most code shamelessly jacked from the scaffold_resource plugin. I
did, however, write all the specs. This code released under the
DoWhatYouWantWithIt license.

DEVICE_STATE() and Asterisk 1.6.0.10
...192.168.1.70
Qualify Freq : 60000 ms
Sess-Timers : Accept
Sess-Refresh : uas
Sess-Expires : 1800 secs
Min-Sess : 90 secs
- From what I have read, with 'Busy Level = 1' I should be seeing BUSY
returned from the DEVICE_STATE() call, yet I don't.
What is the super-secret sauce required to get Asterisk to return the
correct state?
TIA,
Barry
