How to implement Tree structures in RoR
Hi,
I am a newbie, i wanna know how to implement database driven Tree
structures in RoR? Is there any direct support available or should they
be implemented in Javascript ?

How to capture the data entered in a web page in RoR
...?
i am aware that ruby automatically maps the form element names with that
of the database columns names and save accordingly, but if i need to
display these values
before saving them in the database, how can i capture them in the
controller before the save method is called?

Has Nufone gone belly-up
...my service is available. If they have gone belly-up, well I can then
concentrate on some other company and consider my money as a cost of a bad
choice on my part.
If I am a very rare case who just had a bad experience with an excellent
company ( I wish ), Nufone please fix this ASSAP.

How can i read a properties file in RoR
...quivalants of some english words as follows
user Name:nombre del usuario
user Code :c?digo del usuario
likewise. now , where should i store this properties file in the
directory structure and how can i read these in to my application and
display in the view page accordingly?

g723 to g723 SIP call - warning message

If I make the codec to g729, call not even get through. * complains that it
can't bridge the codec.
Now in GS phone I can see following setting;
Voice Frames per TX: 2 (up to 10/20/32/64 frames for G711/G726/G723/other
codecs respectively)
Could there be a mismatch here ?

IAX registration
...nected, wouldn't there is a possibility to set
registration interval to a higher value.
I tend to think that nufone server is loosing my * and hence my callers get
"number unreachable message" due to the fact that I have to keep on
registering with it.
Any help appreciated.

help needed with read()

This will read the digits but I do not know how to proceed after the
reading.

Samba 4 Trust relationship with Windows 2008 Active Directory
...relationship with samba 4 AD and windows 2008 AD which is already
running in our environment. While creating the trust it failed with the
following error "The target system doesn't support Netlogon trust password
verification". Can you please help out on sorting the issue.

Read error on sound device
Hello,
I am posting this after spending hours digging through the list archives.
Problem : When asteirsk plays a voice prompt, the voice clip is really
choppy.
I figure that this is something to with the sound card, the timing of
playback etc.
But cannot seems to find an answer.
Here is the Notice which appear when voice prompt is played.

CDR shows billsec=12 for all bridged calles.
Can someone help me, im using latest CVS, asterisk and cdr_mysql, when I
make a bridge call (using .call files in outgoing/) I always get
'billsec=12' in the cdr, both mysql and Master file even if the call lasted
longer, watching the Master file while making a call I see it updated at 12
seconds even while im still 'in' the DIAL app and the call continues on just
fine.

sending MWI to a none local client
Hi,
I am using * to function as the voice mail system for Vocal. Since I do not
have a context in sip.conf file for each vocal client, I can't set the
mailbox=xxxx in sip.conf. How do I get the MWI to a Vocal client ?

Getting in to h323
...source, but for a starter which
driver provides better doc support
4) Configuration - Which one is simpler and easier, again any pointers other
than readmes., Wiki and John Todd was my reference points for all the above,
but cant find any h323 stuff there.

codec pass-through feature
Hi Gurus,
I we seen references to 'codec pass through feature' in the mailing list.
SIP to SIP and SIP to chan_h323 as well. Could someone help me to understand
this feature, or point me to some examples etc.
