[Mesa-stable] [PATCH 2/2] nv50: zero out unbound samplers

Would it be worth doing a similar thing with the unlocked samplers below the
nr mark ? It seems to me that we might be leaking nv50->samplers[s][i], or
perhaps I'm missing something ?

[PATCH 10/21] nouveau: Add support for ARB_sampler_object
ARB_sampler_object is very simple software only extension to support.
I want to make it mandator extension for Mesa drivers to allow meta
module to use it.
This patch add support for the extension to nouveau. It is completely
untested search and replace patch. I hope someone with old NV hardware
could give a try that there is no regressions and ARB_sampler_object
tests passes.

TLD instruction usage in non-linked sampler mode
Hello,
This question is in the context of Tesla / Fermi generations, which
have explicit bindings for textures / samplers. It might also apply to
Kepler+, not quite as sure due to the bindless nature.
I've been trying to understand how the TLD operation works (which is
used to implement texelFetch in GLSL). It does not appear to the op
takes an explicit sampler id at all (unlike all the

TLD instruction usage in non-linked sampler mode
Hi Andy,
Thanks for checking! I do see an issue on Tesla as well (at least G92,
and I believe someone else reported on a GT215 or GT218). However I
haven't confirmed that it's the identical issue to what I see on Fermi
with quite as much certainty as what I've checked on a GF108. (For the
G92, the texture buffer object test fails in the same way it does on
Fermi, but there could be

hy,
here is my speex encoder/decoder .. the sampleRate i use is 16000 and
quality,complexity are at 5.
can someone take a look in to the code and see if there is something that is
making that robot voice

TLD instruction usage in non-linked sampler mode
Hi Ilia.
It looks like there is a hardware bug on Fermi and Kepler where TLD
unconditionally uses the sampler from slot 0. This is supposedly fixed
in Maxwell. What I could find internally suggests the bug wasn't present
on Tesla, but let me know if your observations contradict that.
The only work around is to have a sampler defined and bound. Further,
be careful to have reasonable state

WoW just shuts down, no errors, no warnings, no nothing.. There is no indications of a crash it just plain shuts down as if I'd hit alt+f4. Anyone having the same problem?

Possible bug with MCMCpack metropolis sampler
Hi,
I'm having issues with what I believe is a bug in the MCMCpack's
MCMCmetrop1R function. I have code that basically looks like this:
posterior.sampler <- function(data, prior.mu){
log.posterior <- function(theta) log.likelihood(data, theta) +
log.prior(prior.mu, theta)
post.samples <- MCMCmetrop1R(log.posterior, theta.init=prior.mu,
burnin=100, mcmc=1000, thin=40,

ORC JIT - different behaviour of ExecutionSession.lookup?
Hey everyone,
I felt this question is different from my other question - hope this is okay.
So - I was playing around with the lookup function of the ExecutionSession and there are some things I don't understand.
I have a .BC file with a function "?Sampler@@YAXXZ" referencing a value "?_Plansch_test@@3HA" that is not defined in that module itself. I first planed on not

[PATCH 2/2] nv50: zero out unbound samplers
Samplers are only defined up to num_samplers, so set all samplers above
nr to NULL so that we don't try to read them again later.

about MCMC pack again...
Hello, thank you very much for your previous answers about the C++ code.
I am interested in the application of the Gibbs Sampler in the IRT
models, so in the function MCMCirt1d and MCMCirtkd. I've found the C++
source codes, as you suggested, but I cannot find anything about the
Gibbs Sampler. All the files are for the Metropolis algorithm.
Maybe I am not able to read them very well, by the

Gibbs sampler...did it work?
I am writing a Gibbs sampler. I think it is outputting some of what I want,
in that I am getting vector of several thousand values (but not 10,000) in a
txt file at the end.
My question is, is the error message (see below) telling me that it can't
output 10,000 values (draws) because of a limitation in my memory, file
size, shape etc, or that there is an error in the sampler itself?

Linking to native routines in other packages
Dear all,
in my package 'stochvol' I have unsuccessfully been trying to make a C
routine called 'sampler' available to be called from other packages' C code.
Following

I have included
