Hi, I finally found an ATA which works really well with asterisk and its application alarmreceiver. Frankly it works just like the TDM card. It is Soundwin S800 series ATA. Greetings, has anyone installed samba on a 10.20 hpux s800 box trusted system? I'm having struggles getting samba to run on our hpux box. I have samba running on our development hpux 10.20 box however it is not a trusted system. I would be very interested in knowing how to setup samba security with a trusted system. ...for you because you are just using the 'bundled' verison of the c compiler that comes with the opsys; mainly just good for recompiling the kernel, etc when you make changes. You need to use an ansi c compiler - hp has one, B3901BA - HP C/ANSI C Developer's Bundle fo r HP-UX 11.00 (S800) or you can pull down a free gcc (which is ansi standard) from http://gcc.gnu.org I believe you will need version 3.0 or at least a recent cvs version for HP-UX 11...
