IMPORTANT : Regression since kernel > 3.4 as regards suspend to RAM while using 3D accel
Hello,
Been wondering why I could never resume from s2r. That's because I always
use 3D accel (compiz, cairo-dock). I have tested each Arch kernel releases,
hoping each time to get s2r to work.
Tired of this, I decided to use 3.4 LTS... 3.4.50
... And guess what ? I could resume from suspend to RAM 100% of the time !!!
I know it may be a hard work...

Tessellation shaders get MEM_OUT_OF_BOUNDS errors / missing triangles
One additional observation that I just made is that on GK208, the blob
apparently doesn't use the result of S2R Rx, SR_INVOCATION_ID
wholesale in TCS. It either passes it through a I2I.S32.S32 Rx, |Rx|
(i.e. absolute value), or even more paradoxically, shl 2; shr 2; which
removes the top *2* bits, rather than just the top 1. However I see no
such behaviour on GF108.
I'm going to test out tomorrow whethe...

But I checked, this commit 5e120f6e4b3f35b741c5445dfc755f50128c3c44 is the
first bad one.
Thanks for your future help,

Tessellation shaders get MEM_OUT_OF_BOUNDS errors / missing triangles
...ee it here:
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/tree/src/gallium/drivers/nouveau/codegen/nv50_ir_emit_nvc0.cpp#n2574
The reason I think it's an error in sched codes is due to the TRAP
memory location that I see -- could well be some "stale" value in the
register and the value from S2R or VILD doesn't make it in there in
time before the ALD reads it.
If you should like to try this yourself, you can use
https://github.com/imirkin/mesa/commits/gl4-integration-2 . This
branch is good enough to run Unigine Heaven, but still has a lot of
known shortcomings. (Both at the core and...

Transferring data from S+ to R
I would like to know if there is an easy way to transfer all the data from
a S+ directory (".Data" or "_data") to an R image? I would like to transfer
all the functions and all the data sets (data frames, vectors, lists, etc.).
I'm working under Windows NT and am using S+ 3.3 for Windows.

PCI Passthrough, Radeon 7950 and Windows 7 64-bit
Hello,
I've been consistently attempting to make the setup mentioned in the
subject work on the following hardware:
Xeon E3 1275 (v1, Sandy Bridge)
Asus P8B WS (Firmware: 0904 and 2009)
16 GB RAM
Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 OC (Firmware: 015.013.000.010.000705)
Linux 3.4.1 dom0, x86-64, pvops.
Xen 4.1.2 (+ security patch) and 4.1.3-rc1.
Old qemu-dm setup. (not new mainline qemu)
Windows 7 64-bit
