MIDI on a VM
...of which live on VMs. The host is running C7. I've tried
"adding hardware", specifically a virtual sound card, to the VMs, but
still they remain silent. How do I connect the virtual sound cards to
the physical sound card so that I can hear the music?
Thanks,
Martin

Color Coded Labels (Like OSX)
Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to do something similar to Mac OSX color label, where you can highlight a file or group of files and assign them a color, making different files more obvious. For example, my files which are finished with are colored green and those which haven't been worked on are red, etc. This means, even with files of the same type, I can clearly see which ones need

...VTs? How about a VAX 11/782 with two LA120s, one per CPU. :-)
There were advantages in hardcopy consoles when dealing with system
crashes or boot problems.
Oh, I will confess to once owning W95 and W98 machines, but I do
remember finally issuing the command "# rm -r /C".

GPX files
I have a Garmin 78s marine GPS receiver and it stores tracks in GPX
format. This is an XML encoded set of points giving longitude,
latitude, time and sea depth. Garmin support viewing this via their
Garmin Express product, but there only seem to be Windows and Mac
versions. I've emailed them and await a reply. In the mean time, does
anyone know of any Linux products that will emable me to

with photos, and wants them moved onto my computer. I'm running CentOS

the data on the iPhone, though it does recognise the phone as an iPhone.
Any suggestions (well any that don't involve a steam roller, sledge
