From: Gene Cumm <gene.cumm at gmail.com>
run.c: A simple COM32 module that will optionally clear the screen
(using newlines) then run a command.

This is based on my alias COM32 module that I submitted back in
October, with some improvements to clean up debugging code and
optionally clear the screen.

libvirt-lxc
Hi,
I noticed that libvirt-lxc will be deprecated for RedHat:
"Future development on the Linux containers framework is now based on
the docker command-line interface. libvirt-lxc tooling may be removed in
a future release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (including Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 7) and should not be relied upon for developing custom
container management applications." -

CVE-2019-5736
Hi,
builds fixing CVE-2019-5736 in runc and docker are in cbs:
https://cbs.centos.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=25142
https://cbs.centos.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=25136
The security flaw is quite severe. Please, what should be done? I am not
very well versed in the processes and do not want to neglect anything.
Thank you very much and have a nice day,
Fero

Q: Samba4 AD DC & small office file sharing
For my current small office configuration, the machine serving
as a NT4 Style PDC is also the main file server. Works fine.
In reading up on creating an updated configuration, I see The Samba
Wiki states the following:
"The Samba AD DC is able to provide file shares, just like all other
installation modes. However, the Samba team does not recommend using a
DC as a file server"

wine.conf newbie problem
I appear to have 'installed' wine correctly and get appropriate output
from 'wine -version'
However, when I try to run solitaire, the following happens.

/win98/windows/sol.exe
Warning: could not find wine config [Drive x] entry for current working
directory /home/gallun; starting in windows directory.

Q: Samba4 AD DC & small office file sharing
In lieu of virtualization, I wouldn't be opposed to some
small, inexpensive appliance type device (sort of like
the Netgate firewalls that run pfsense).
I came across the MintBox Mini Pro
(http://www.fit-pc.com/web/products/mintbox/mintbox-mini-pro/)
Any experience or alternate suggestions?
