RTCW on Wine questions.........
Ok heres the deal..... Im not a gamer, this is the first game Ive bought in 4 years so please bear with me. Ive been playing RTCW MP2 Test since it came out , I loved it. rtcw under wine
hi, i'm wondering if there is any way to turn on support for GL extensions.. rtcw is running under wineX with no probs, but if i turn on GL extensions in the options menu, the graphics look distorted.. (just like they did look under native-linux-q3 without having installed the NVIDIA GLX modules). is there already support for the GL extensions under wine? thx in advance, cia...

I'm having the same exact problems with my new Gainward Geforce4 card, but most of the time games just crash and hang without any error message (only with one very old nvidia driver could I get it to give an error message, and that was the same message you got).

Wine Problems after upgrading Nvidia drivers
Hello, i am running ubuntu 9.10 64bit. Wine 1.1.35 also have nvidia 8800GTS. when i first installed wine, i was using the nvidia 185.xx drivers, had return to castle wolfenstien and dragon age origns installed and playable. RTCW worked 100% no issues. Dragon Age Origins ran but was haveing graphic issues in game, black flickering. i decided to upgrade my video drivers, from 185.xx to 195.xx ( i know 195.xx is beta, perhaps i should have went with 190.xx) after upgrading my drivers, i could not get any games to run under...

Hi, WINE 1.2.2, Return to Castle Wolfenstein retail patched to 1.4.1, OS X 10.6.6, Mac Pro 2010 with ATI 5770. The error message is as stated in the title. Does Wine support the NVIDIA 7186 drivers?

Wine performance drops hard on popup notification
Ubuntu 10.4 32bit I've tried Ubuntu proprietary drivers, and latest Nvidia drivers 256.53 or something. (gpu = evga 8600 gts 256mb) Wine versions 1.2 and up all have my issue When I run Steam games windowed or fullscreened, they run amazing.
