Interesting coding problem ..
...It's a jazz flute track with a lot of plate echo.
The flute (centred in the mix) almost disappears ...
I am away for a few days, but if someone would like to look at this
I would be grateful ...

P.S. This came up as I have my 4 channel encoding working and can
play direct audio back to 4 channels (using the SGI 4 channel
hardware).

Hello ... and a few comments.
...gg" file on my anon ftp. It's some jazz/blues sax
played by my 15yr old daughter, but encoded and decoded quite well.
I would like to know if other "non-sgi" systems can decode it OK.
This way I know my fixes have been sufficient.

I'm not a CVS/hacker/patcher etc ... just interested in audio
(I work closely with Music/Music Technology here at the Uni).
If someone would care to patch up the source tree to at least
get the casts done, this would help the codebase, and aid the

RC2 release
RC2 has been officially released. Get all your vorbis goodness from
www.vorbis.com, along with release notes, and binary downloads for
windows and for linux/x86 (RPMs). Debian packages are in incoming.
Three cheers for the guys who did all the hard work here - Monty,
for writing the code, Greg Maxwell for being our release manager
for today, in Jack's absense. Also to Chad, for win32
