If you want to check their order, use str(sortdata) and you'll see Santa-Rosa was attributed factor level 4 (in the output, first variable, the 3rd and 4th). Running "rake assets:clobber assets:precompile" will generate files like "application-xxx.css" with incorrect urls after upgrading to Rails 4. For example url(/fields/xxx.png) when it should be url(/assets/fields/xxx.png).
