ROpenOffice (which requires Rcompression)
...inconvenient to export every single sheet to a csv file whenever I apply changes to the labelling or so, and I haven't found a plugin or an application which does this batch in OOorg. Is there new development on a direct import package for ODS files? I've googled around one afternoon, found ROpenOffice (http://www.omegahat.org/ROpenOffice/) which requires Rcompression (http://www.mail-archive.com/r-help at r-project.org/msg55480.html), which in turn is quite outdated. Hosting Omegahat package on CRAN?
...it on CRAN would magically make all of these issues go away. I could create a package with a different name but the same contents and upload it to CRAN, but this is sub-optimal. I can also integrate Rstem's code into my package, but this is not really better. FWIW, the same issue exists with ROpenOffice, though it also depends on RCompression, which makes things slightly more complex.
