NT_STATUS_NO_MEMORY accessing a DC shared resource
I have a working Samba 4.7.6 DC with the default /sysvol and /netlogon
shares.
These shares work perfectly and domain users can access them without any
issue.
Now, to ease experimenting with config files and stuff (it's not a
production server), I've added a /rootdisk share (path=/) limiting its
access ro root and domain admins:
---------
# cat /etc/samba/smb.conf

Cannot use kickstart file to install CentOS 6.2 into a blank harddisk
I am trying using a kickstart file to install CentOS 6.2 into a new virtual machine (the MBR sector
of the harddisk is all zero), however I found that the installer cannot go through the harddisk
partition. It failed after I chose "Use All Space" at harddisk partition option.
The error message is:

Templates and self-knowledge
So, I''m into templating. I *like* templating. What I *don''t* like, of
course, is to have to use multiple, similar templates for different output
files. So, let''s work a concrete example. Suppose I have a template
"standard_profile.erb" which looks like this:

Problems booting with SCSI CD
...boot floppy (using the right kernel,
naturally) and be able to pass a parameter at "Boot:" which says to
mount the SCSI CD (or for that matter other CD, on a machine which does
not support booting from CD). And then it would be possible at least
not to use the sequence of 5 installation rootdisks. I wonder if it is
possible to do that?
I hope that you can be of assistance to me, and also I am glad, if
possible, to be of assistance to you, by honoring your request to learn
about any problems that people may be having.

Samba server in a failover environment
Hello, Samba Gurus .....
I have a Samba server running on a pair of SUN servers (server-a and
server-b).
The samba shares are NFS mounted from a third SUN server (server-c).
I installed Samba 2.2.7a on the paired SUN servers under /usr/local/samba
(Samba 2.2.7a is locally installed on server-a and server-b, since
/usr/local/samba
is local on the rootdisk.)
The failover environment works like

tick divider bugs
Hi all,
If you are using the kernel divider= option in your vmware quest, you
are probably aware of the bugs reported at:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=315471
Someone @redhat "confirmed" the fix is in the test kernel -92. I
tried it but it seems to have the same problem as before - when used
with clocksource=pit, it hangs on bootup. Wonder if some of you can
test this
