...kind of "alternative symbol" which would just act as
a middle man to invoke the "real" symbol in the static library.
If that's the case, I can think of a way to implement it for specific
symbols, but not for the more general case.

The relocation type stated in that library (information gathered from
dumpbin) is REL32.
I'm not sure what other information there is for me to gather, could
somebody please help me resolve this?
Many thanks in advance!

Fitting nonlinear (quantile) models to linear data.
Hello.
I am trying to fit an asymptotic relationship (nonlinear) to some
ecological data, and am having problems. I am interested in the upper
bound on the data (i.e. if there is an upper limit to 'y' across a range
of 'x'). As such, I am using the nonlinear quantile regression package
(nlrq) to fit a michaelis mention type model.
The errors I get (which are dependant on

Many problems since a reinstall.
Hi there,
Recently, i had a kernel panic on my computer.. Afortunately, I had
backup and easily made a restore of the computer. BUT, samba has
become a really headache for me.
First of all, I had to rejoin the domain in the clients, that was
fine, the users could login to the clients, but they couldn't open
some programs like Inventor nor AutoCAD.
On the try to resolve that, it started to

It’s pretty intermittent at the moment…sometimes I get the relocation overflow issue, sometimes I get another issue about BSS sections having no contents.
The source code to reproduce either is simple:
#include <iostream>
int main (int argc, char* argv[])
{
}
I’ve managed to reproduce the BSS section issue in clang consistently, and since that comes before terms of where it happens in
