Parametric survival models with left truncated, right censored data
...ated data. This function is useful, but I need to
fit parametric models other than Weibull.
Any suggestions of functions that can fit parametric survival models
other than Weibull on left truncated, right censored data would be
greatly appreciated.

Looking for SMB2/3 compatible version for AIX 6.1
...Since this customer does not have a current AIX support contract I think it's unlikely that we'll be able to get the correct versions of the prerequisites. But If we can find those, I would like to know if samba 4.1.16 is compatible with SMB2 or SMB3. Thanks in advance for your time!

Interactions in a nls model
I am interested in testing two similar nls models to determine if the
lines are statistically different when fitted with two different data
sets; one corn, another soybean. I know I can do this in linear models
by testing for interactions. See Introductory Statistics with R by
Dallgaard p212-218 for an example. I have two different data sets I am
comparing to lai. ci.re should have very

Can rsync handle any type of file?
Hiya
I have been doing some substantial research about rsync and the rsync
algorithm.
I was wondering: can rsync backup any type of file? I have tested it with
"common" files Word, Excel, SQL dumps, log files etc
But what about more complex types of files, like vector images etc.
Thank you for your thoughts in advance.

Significance of interaction depends on factor reference level - lmer/AIC model averaging
...interaction depends
on which location is my reference level and I cannot understand why this is
the case. It seems to be due to the fact that the standard error associated
with my interactions varies depending on which level is the reference.
Any help or advice would be appreciated,

Changing Python Version
Hi;
I am trying to change the default version of python on my centos 5.7 box and leave the old installation. Frustrated by not finding any help online, I went ahead and installed Python 2.6 from the source. It appears to be my default, but when I fire up mod_wsgi, it complains that it can't import os. Please advise.
TIA,
Quincey?

I''ve noticed that defining multiple facts in one file is possible, and
puppet can make use of them correctly, but when trying to call with facter

as any other single custom fact?
Master is running 2.6.7
This is a custom fact with two facts in it:
