Trying to update samba
...er running samba-3.0.9-1.3E.10. And I'm trying to update that so I can now add windows 7 pcs to my network. The server is a Dell Poweredge 2850 running Red Hat Enterprise Linux EX release 3 (taroon update 8). It's also running Webmin version 1.580. I wanted to download the update as an .rmp thinking it would be easier and I would be able to run it from my webmin command line. I went to http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=samba to the .rmp. I wasn't sure which one to try so I tried a few. I would like to stay away fedora if possible. I ran the rmp from my command...

color.ramp in maptools
...1-21) on Linux Looking at the plot.Map function itself, I see that it calls a color.ramp function (I am reporting only the relevant part here): ... if (attr(theMap$Shapes, "shp.type") == "poly") { if (!is.null(auxvar) && nclass > 1) { col.rmp <- color.ramp(nclass, nvec = auxvar) for (i in recs) { ... Optimize R: some confusion with Lapack and OpenBlas/openBlas openmp packages.
...enable-R-shlib \. As the machine will act as a server with lots of R data computing, I try to optimize my R package. At first, I installed parallel_studio_xe_2016 with a free one year licence. Then, I build a package for R with Intel MKL and compiler. This took me lots of time as it was my first .rmp build. I finally managed to build and run it. Now, when looking at some blogs about R-RBenchmark.25, I realized that there is very few speed difference between Intel BLAS and OpenBlas. I am now wondering if such Intel stuff (with its paid licencing) and the need to build my own R package is really...

Download R
I use Fedora 10. I need to update my computer's R version. I apologise if this has come up before. The Debian and Ubuntu download links appear reasonably up to date. The Suse download links appear almost up to date. Unfortunately, the Fedora download links are from 2008/2009. http://cran.r-project.org/bin/linux/ Should the Fedora links be removed or updated?

E.g. on my Debian testing box, with Rmpi installed directly u...
