Reading an email from an mbox file and resending to a different address without modification
Greetings, I''m trying to emulate the "Redirect" function of some email clients but am not having much success. I am sending messages with ActionMailer templates just fine so I''m pretty sure my environment is set up correctly and that my mail server is accepting the messages to relay. I am reading messages out of an mbox file and parsing them into RMail objects with

build postfix rpm with mysql
hello list, I'm trying to build a postfix rpm that has mysql support included. I've found the line where I need to define mysql support but it seems that I am being tripped up by some build dependencies: [root at beta SPECS]# rpmbuild -ba postfix.spec error: Failed build dependencies: MySQL-shared is needed by postfix-2.9.1-1.rhel5.x86_64 MySQL-devel is needed by

build postfix spec w/ mysql
hello list! I am attempting to build an rpm of postfix that includes support for mysql. I've done this before with earlier versions on postfix but I am staring at this spec file until my eyes bleed and I just don't see why when I build the spec with rpmbuild mysql support isn't there. After I install the rpm I have a look at the modules as such: ldd $(which postfix) | grep -i

Dovecot2 + Sieve
Hi, i'm new on sieve, but want to use ist with sogo. The Problem is, that when i set a redirect or vacation rule like: redirect "email at example.com"; (real Adress is different) the sieve says the mail would be forwarded, but no mail is sent. (No Action in /var/log/maillog) And because there is no Error-Message it's difficult to search for... Dovecot log ------- Jan 28

booting from HVM (?pv?)
Hi, I''m the Mageia XEN packager and during QA, we stumbled into a problem. in fact, we wanted to test Mageia 3 installation on a HVM. so, we had a sparse image and a iso file: [ ''file:/opt/testhvm.img,sda,w'', ''file:/opt/mageialive.iso,hdb:cdrom,r'' ] the live booted, and was able to install to disk, but it never seemed to boot after the install...

mounting a snapshot for backup.
Hi I have an ocfs2 volume (1.4.1) on lvm2, which is made available on 2 nodes via dual primary drbd that is on it. I wanted to backup my volume, so naturally I made a snapshot of it via the lvm2, and tried to mount it for backing up. However, I got the following error in dmesg : [319981.478168] (23483,0):ocfs2_fill_super:700 ERROR: Unable to create per-mount debugfs root. I then searched

"Digest" version of R-help and R-devel mailing lists
A few of you have expressed the desire for a "digest" subscription to the R-help and/or R-devel mailing lists. {This may be especially useful if you leave for vacation etc}. These ``digest lists'' have now been put into place, i.e., if you don't want to get as much e-mail from R-help or R-devel as currently, but still would want to be in touch, you could now consider

separating a digest into separate messages
Could someone suggest a mail reader that will parse a digest from r-help into separate messages? Preferably, this reader would allow replies or forwards of separate messages. I use pine on a Sun running SunOS 5.7. If there were an add-on to pine that would accomplish this task, that would be even better. Anne ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Anne E. Can't Get SASL to Work
I have been fighting with this for almost 2 days. I can't seem to get the SMTP server to authenticate through SASL. I have turned so many things off and on, I don't remember what I've done, anymore. Can someone look at these and tell me what I'm missing. I get this in the log, anytime postfix tries to authenticate. Sep 24 19:48:14 ubuntu postfix/smtpd[14464]: warning: SASL:

sup 0.0.1 Released -- rubies for emails
Do you use rubies to read your emails? Well, sup version 0.0.1 has been released! http://sup.rubyforge.org Sup is an attempt to take the UI innovations of web-based email readers (ok, really just GMail) and to combine them with the traditional wholesome goodness of a console-based email client. Sup is designed to work with massive amounts of email, potentially spread out across different mbox

how to loop through variables in R?
After importing a table with "M" variables and "N" records, I'd like to calculate chi-square statistics, say, between N1, N2; N1, N3, ..., N1, Ni, and then N2, N3, ... N2, Ni, ..., Ni-1, Ni. Two loops should be ok but the manual & online help don't show a systematic way to do so but instead show hard-code examples so users have to type in the names themselves one

MAIL on Solaris
On Solaris, the environment variable MAIL gets set to /var/mail//user, (with double // before user name),which breaks some MUAs, e.g. emacs' Rmail. The problem lies in the fact that /usr/include/maillock.h has: #define MAILDIR "/var/mail/" while session.c adds another / snprintf(buf, sizeof buf, "%.200s/%.50s", _PATH_MAILDIR, pw->pw_name); This only
