Not to take away from wine, but loki (www.loki.com) has released a patch that will install and update UT into a Linux game, where Wine, or any other package, would not be needed. Hello, I've just installed Lotus Notes 5.0.8 client on my system with wine, on a Debian Linux (unstable dist) system. The wine package installed is the 20011112 version, from the CVS build deb package. I'm running c:/Lotus/Notes/nlnotes.exe, and my Wine desktop comes up with the Notes Workspace and a client configuration dialog with active "Next" and "Cancel"

UT2004 runs nearly flawlessly under Wine, and is about 10,000 times easier to install than its Linux counterpart. The only problem I'm having is running it full screen. What's the command for that? For example, is it something like: $wine UT2004.exe --full-screen I know --full-screen is the right option, so which is it? (Without editing the config file, or course.) :) Thanks! Hiji

...there is a way to get this to work because one day about a week and a half ago I actually did get sound from Wine with oss in Unreal. Hi, finally got HL to run at 1024 in opengl. But there are some things which i'm not happy about: 1) Sound lags about 1 sec after the game, EAX doesn't work. 2) Some fonts don't get found (which messes up the scoreboard).
