After somebody records a message asterisk notifies me and encloses the WAV file. Though I'm not sure if this is a WAV format. I can not play it. According to the file specification it is: msg0000.WAV: RIFF (little-endian) data, WAVE audio, GSM 6.10, mono 8000 Hz How to play received message? -- #Joseph

Setting up to reveive faxes.
Hey, all. When I last was heavily into Asterisk (1.0.x), setting up to receive faxes was, well, a PITA, what with having to patch the Asterisk install with various driver patches and this, that, and the other. Is that still true? Is there a fax HOWTO out there that reflects Asterisk 1.4.x? Thanks! -Ken

Option to not add "Received" header ?
Hi everyone, I use Dovecot in lmtp mode to receive mails. I would like an option to tell Dovecot to not add a "Reveived" header on each server (I use a director, so Director also adds this header). Is it possible to do this ? Or could it be a future feature ? Thank you. Florent

Don't receive the prefix
Hello, I had installed several asterisk, but I every time had a problem with callerID. On each phones I don't reveive the first digit. For example: Caller 0672083516 called an IP Phone 0123456789. The IP Phone see 672083516 as callerID. I think there is a patch for it, but I don't know where to find it out. Thanks. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Serial port communication
Hello, I'm trying to use my Visual C++ program under Linux using Wine. My program configurates a serial port, sends and receives data through it. At first everything seemed to be running, but then I noticed a very curious thing: the program running under wine seems to have no notice when a single byte was sent to it to the serial port. If I send two or more bytes - everything OK. With one

What happen for Negative binomial link in Lmer
Seems the message below and the thread have reveived no attention/answer. The output presented is quite tricky. Looks like if lmer (lme4 0.9975-10) has accepted a negative binomial link with reasonable estimates, although it was not designed for... What can one think about result validity ? Snom, Asterisk and Patton SN1400 - sending bye instead of hold
...w and slinear is available but never the first choice since i use my asterisk in europe. (slinear is available for debugging supposes) But if a calls comes from or go to the SN1400 and someone tries to HOLD a call, the snoms are sending bye instead of hold, Asterisk plays his MOH until the bye reveives, the snoms doesnt understand this and thinks the caller is still on hold. In the SIP Debug i found some things which i cant handle, so i try to ask you whats going on there : The call comes in, the patton routes it to asterisk and the codec invite starts : --FROM PATTON TO ASTERISK-- Found a...

Question about NA's
...n I want to do some operations on a matrix with some NA's it is possible to stripp them before the computation proceed (by na.rm=TRUE). But how can I stripp NA's when I want to proceed a 'if', 'for' or 'while' string? Because when I don't stripp them I always reveive the message :"missing value where TRUE/FALSE needed". I don't know if I can use the method with na.rm=TRUE and if so, how I can do it. Thanks a lot in advance! Matthias Tips

Problem with E1
...little hurry!). I have an E100P, and it seems everything is configured ok, but when receiving a call, I get the following message "D-Channel on span 1 up" (four times), then the call ends, asterisk says "D-Channel on span 1 down". And that's all. My telco says they reveive no answer on the line. Asterisk gets the call and does nothing. I have done the cable from the modem to the card myself, crossing pins 1 and 2 with 4 and 5 respectively, as my telco has told me, and the card shows a greed led (not the flashing red I had when using a LAN crossover cable). C...

nmbd reacts to its own broadcasts?
...though all 5 names I was registering had similar series of packets and timings, I would only receive log messages for 2 of them. I suspected that nmbd was reacting to a packet it originated itself. So I set up iptables to drop all incoming trafic from my own ip address. When I started SAMBA, I reveived hits on my new IP filter, the SAMBA log messages stopped, and the delays between the registration packets for each name became 2, 1, and 1 s. Problem solved! But is this normal behavior? Should I be receiving my own UDP broacasts? Is nmbd's reacting to them a bug? Is there a better way to...

FTS delays
No, the parsing is made by dovecot core, that is nothing the backend can do about it. The backend shall *never* reveive this. (would it be buggy or no) PLease, have a look deeper And the loop is a very big problem as it times out all the time (and once again, this is not in any of the backend functions) On 2019-04-21 10:42, Timo Sirainen via dovecot wrote: > Inbox appears in the list of arguments, because...
