IRC spam
I'll comment from the perspective of someone that is in the Mesa, #dri-devel, #radeon channels myself and have watched their behaviour over the years. This is a real person that spams a load of information into a channel about their understanding of how hardware works. I have no idea what their goal is for spamming this information, could be some desire for acceptance from perceived smartness.

There are only two things more annoying on a mailing list than top posting: bottom posting with no trimming of quoted content and all the endless discussions about top posting.

Using Dovecot code in a non-LGPL package
...License 2.0. But Dovecot is licensed under LGPL 2.1; if he takes Dovecot code, modifies it, and mixes it with Alpine, that would not be allowed by the licenses together (as I understand it). The Apache License 2.0 is a permissive, non-copyleft license like the MIT License, but it adds a patent retaliation clause. See http://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0.html for its text and http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/license-list.html for a short statement of its compatibility with GPLv3; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apache_License#GPL_compatibility has a little more. License-wise, there are two choi...

zpool split problem?
Zpool split is a wonderful feature and it seems to work well, and the choice of which disk got which name was perfect! But there seems to be an odd anomaly (at least with b132) . Started with c0t1d0s0 running b132 (root pool is called rpool) Attached c0t0d0s0 and waited for it to resilver Rebooted from c0t0d0s0 zpool split rpool spool Rebooted from c0t0d0s0, both rpool and spool were mounted
