IMAPS error with Dovecot?
I'm using Dovecot to support IMAPS on CentOS4 on port 993. Stock RPMS, absolutely nothing special done or even anything compiled on the system. About as usual as usual usually gets. But, using KMail on my Fedora Linux laptop, I keep getting the following message: (in part) "This means that although the resource, Changing the flags of message imaps://me at

Bitrate problem
This is a common problem. Sound cards run at different clock speeds (but your difference seems kinda high). What I'd suggest is dropping silence packets once in a while. .a -----Original Message----- From: speex-dev-bounces@xiph.org [mailto:speex-dev-bounces@xiph.org] On Behalf Of Shantanu Gramsci Sent: Wednesday, December 21, 2005 2:05 PM To: speex-dev@xiph.org Subject: [Speex-dev] Bitrate

[LLVMdev] running test-suite in cross compilation/execution
Currently, if you are on Mips hardware running linux, you can basically just run test suite the same way you would run it on an x86 box. You can just do a "make report TEST=simple" for example. We also run it on an x86 box, generating MIPS code and then use either qemu as a simulator or connect to a mips linux box to just execute the tests. To do this cross compilation and testing,

Bitrate problem
But that's what a jitter buffer will do, eventually - drop a packet. And it's better to drop a silence packet. Time moving backwards error
I'm running dovecot on an OpenBSD 3.7 server and after upgrading to RC25, the daemon started exiting with: Fatal: Time just moved backwards (1173221579 -> 1173221578)! This might cause a lot of problems, so I'll just kill myself now. After upgrading to RC26, I've gotten the error: Error: Time just moved backwards by 1 seconds. I'll sleep now until we're back in

dovecot 0.99.14 and imaps (SSL) "hangs"
Hello, I just decided to try dovecot again after a long pause, and I must say that I am very impressed with the speed and resource usage, even when running with UNIX mailboxes. However, I have a problem with SSL. Every two minutes the connection is frozen, and the client has to reconnect after it times out waiting for a response from the server. My IMAP client fetches all headers, and then

denyhosts-2.9-4.el7 not resync'ing
Everyone, It is apparent that the epel version of denyhosts on Centos 7 which is denyhosts-2.9-4.el7.noarch does not resynch with : SYNC_SERVER = http://xmlrpc.denyhosts.net:9911 According to : https://www.centos.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=56989 the problem is related to a version update problem in the epel repositories. I submitted a bugzilla report :

Bitrate problem
Hello all, This is a bit off topic but I am sure many of you can answer it. I use speex and speex-wb in my VOIP application. With speex [at 8 KHz] bitrate is arround 30KBPS, including UDP,RTP headers. This is OK for me and I get good quality audio. Problem is, if call is made from a HIGH END machine [like P4 3.2 GHz with good soundcard] to a LOW END machine [like P3 550 MHz], high end pc sends

Permission problems on Win 7 x64
...er, created an D:\Users\ Jack_Walter \Tools\Rsync\etc\fstab file with: none /cygdrive cygdrive binary,posix=0,user,noacl 0 0 but the fstab option seems only be viable if _both_ machines are using it and I have no control on what Strato HiDrive does. How can I avoid these weird permissions on the resynched local file? It would be the best option if all files only get the inherited permissions from the drive they are synched too. Regards, Jack

About the FreeBSD Security Advisories
Hello.. I've noticed a delay between when the security advisories are sent and when the cvsup servers, ftp mirrors and web mirrors are updated. Is this delay on purpose to give the users some time to update/patch their system(s) before it hit pages like bugtraq, etc.. or is it just a caused by the delay between when the ftp/cvsup servers are synced? Best regard, Jesper Wallin

nss_ldap: reconnected to LDAP server ldap://127.0.0.1
Hello, I have a problem that I'm really having trouble figuring out. I run CentOS Linux 5.5. I have three servers. All have been setup and running with LDAP authentication for a couple years with absolutely no problems. Unfortunately a couple weeks ago, we had a power outage. Ever since, I am having continuous problems with authentication to the server. I see in /var/log/messages

Bitrate problem
Thanks all for your prompt reply. I agree with Alex. I think jitter buffer will have to drop packets if its input bitrate is higher than it is configured for. I never tried speex jitter buffer. What does it do when input bitrate is higher or lower ? As an alternate solution, I was thinking to play with directsound playrate [using SetFrequency()]. Has anyone used it to solve such problem? Any

[LLVMdev] test-suite
I'm trying to run test-suite for x86 in order to verify a target independent patch before I put it back. The patch has been approved. What is the best way to run it in order to get maximum coverage and have results where I can tell that I have not regressed anything (as well as the test-suite can help with that)? I've already tested it against the Mips compiler but we have a slightly
