Here is my experience with Rosetta Stone: I am SO unhappy with Rosetta Stone. I purchased a RS language program from a vendor who was using a fake licensing certificate and stolen credit cards to buy thousands of RS products and resell them. The guy is now in jail and was ordered to pay restitution to Rosetta Stone. I only found this out when I contacted them to get a deactivation code to transfer the program to our new computer. Patch Cycle
Hello, I submitted a patch <http://dev.rubyonrails.org/ticket/3287> ( http://dev.rubyonrails.org/ticket/3287) a couple of days ago. The patch adds some methods into and changes the existing methods in the CaptureHelper module. It should not, as I can see, affect any existing Rails implementations. I added the relevant unit tests and all but one of the tests pass. The test that fails failed

How to clear trixbox configuration
Hello all, To test some configs i forgot the trixbox web config (freepbx) and i made changes directly in asterisk config files (sip.conf, extensions.conf, etc). Result: asterisk is working ok but the the web config is totaly confused and, if i made a change via freepbx this not works ok. Only now i know that this changes will be made in "file_custom.conf"... problem of newbie... :). I

Faktortel in Sydney outage
...t I drop them as a provider. I got told (and confirmed) that none of the faktortel numbers are portable and unless I want to print new business cards,brochure,websites etc I'm stuck with them and cant do a thing about it. Z-Raid performance with Random reads/writes
Given a 1.6TB ZFS Z-Raid consisting 6 disks: And a system that does an extreme amount of small /(<20K) /random reads /(more than twice as many reads as writes) / 1) What performance gains, if any does Z-Raid offer over other RAID or Large filesystem configurations? 2) What is any hindrance is Z-Raid to this configuration, given the complete randomness and size of these accesses?
