Unstable NFS mount at heavy load.
I was running benchmark on IO performance using iozone3.
In my build, the dom0 resides on a small usb stick and all the storage
comes from a NFS mount.
I test NFS performance on both dom0 && domU, mounting from the same server.
The dom0 test works just well, but the domU run suffers from unstable NFS mount.
Since this is a NFS root, the domU just appear to be freezed.

Budge Tones pick up wrong calls
We have 3 Grandstream Budge Tone 100 phones which are being very fluid
on incoming calls. They are set up as extensions 2501, 2518, and 2536.
When calling out to another phone, they always identify themselves
correctly. But sometimes they will respond to the wrong incoming
calls. (By respond, I mean that the phone rings and if someone picks up
the receiver, the call then goes thru.) For

Are you sure this couldn't be an NFS server problem?
Any message or errors in 'dmesg'? Any kernel

sieve vacation - 2 questions
Hello,
still trying to move from procmail to sieve, but there are new problems.
Currently we use procmail for autoresponder and let user choose
timerange, in which responder should work. May be you set up today your
responder for 2 weeks in future where responder start and stop
automatically without further manuell intervention.
In procmail this is done by simple scripting and comparison of

Dovecot randomly stops responding
Hi!
I'm running Dovecot 1.0beta7 on FreeBSD 6.0 (i386) and it randomly stops
responding. To mitigate the problem I made a little ruby scripts which
logs in to the POP3 server every 3 minutes and, in case of error (the
errors are usually timeout or end of file errors), restarts Dovecot.
Although this keeps this keeps things working, I'd like to figure out
what is causing Dovecot to stop

Potential minor GUI bug
Is this an interface bug? Using RGUI for windows I run into a "Not
Responding" process (I "smartly" coded an infinite loop, yaiks!), I hit esc
and the interpreter was stopped and I recovered the console functionality
but the caption on the R icon in my windows taskbar (the individual icon
shown for every software currently running in the session) was not updated

Performance and disconnect troubles on winbind after samba upgrade
Hello,
We have a RHEL4 x64 running for 3 years, which is a samba member server
integrated with a AD domain without any problems (we was using
samba-3.0.10-1.4E.6).
Last Saturday we performed an entire server update, applying all RHN
available patches. Everything is running fine, except for winbind
service which has a strange behavior: often we are receiving some errors
at logs, and the

ActiveRecord write stops script from responding to SIGTERM
We''ve got a small daemon we run on our servers, which looks something
like this
require File.dirname(__FILE__) + ''/../config/boot''
require File.dirname(__FILE__) + ''/../config/environment''
ActiveRecord::Base.establish_connection
