specifying multiple parameter starting values in nlm
...ich uses q, r to give me values for c, d below. a
and b are already specified; this loop is a mass-balance function where I am
trying to find values of q, r to give me c and d. I want c and d (mass-balance
model outputs) to approximate a and b (known endpoints that I want the model to
attain), respecitvely. Thus, the function I want to minimize is:
fu <- ((a^2 - c^2) + (b^2 - d^2))/2 ; fu
}
nlm (f, 1, r=1)
This doesn't return estimates for each parameter, and I get error messages
saying something like "repleaced missing value with maximum" or something. All
I did here was try...

- The data set does not have any missing values
- B_YEAR is a factor with 10 levels
- B_HALF is a factor with 20 levels
- The data set contains more than 19000 observations.
Now, I am bit confused. Why does the function works when I use B_YEAR
respecitvely why does it work with B_HALF when I delete I(age2+1)
Thanks in advance,

wraps the functionality of the multistream API aside from matrix transforms
during encode/decode.
We have included 3 mixing/demixing matrix pairs that are sufficient for
coding/decoding 1st/2nd/3rd order content respecitvely.
I've modified the multistream api slightly, first to include some
supplemental API extensions to allow wrapping and moved the declaration of
the MSEnc/MSDec to opus_private so that the projection API can compile.
Some basic tests to ensure matrix multiplication and encoding/decoding

Controlling Access to directories within shares
...force group for different directories
within a share? If I set those directories up as shares, (even if I get to
them via the other share) will the force group be effective?
For example: I currently have
[share]
force group = everyone
With directories a, b and c accessable by groups a, b and c respecitvely.
If I make this
[share]
force group = everyone
[a]
force group = a
[b]
force group = b
[c]
force group = c
Will the groups on files created in directory a within the mapped [share]
drive be forced to group a?
Thanks,
Nick Ruth

[Bug 3439] New: identify password prompts
...ump hops respectively, when doing scp,
with multiple source servers, things can get quite messy.
Then one get's multiple prompts that may be identical and has to think
"where" one is.
Would it be possible to add an option, that ssh/scp/sftp prefix these
prompts?
For example with the respecitve hostname and, if OpenSSH can differ
between what is a normal passphrase request and a OTP, the "type" of
information that is queried?
The default of such option could be "no", so and people could just
selectively enable it when needed.
Thanks in advance, if it should be possi...
