[LLVMdev] [LLVM 3.6.0] Metadata/Value split and RAUW.
Hello everyone, If I understand correctly after the Metadata/Value split the Metadata support of RAUW is limited by ValueAsMetadata and MDNodeFwdDecl (i.e. until cycled in MDNode are not resovled). And my question is. Is where any way to replace an MDNode which is referenced by other MDNodes w\o iterating over all MDNodes in LLMVContext to find and replace those references? Unfortunately I

yum consumes machine (load average soars to 47)
I was using yum to update packages a few nights ago on one of my servers. The update of rpm packages appeared to die. Since then, commands like 'yum check-update' will consume the system. This is a dual-core Pentium-D, with X64 (and I'm running 64 bit). One CPU pegs at 100% running yum, but whatever it's doing on disk really is the bigger issue. It so consumes the disk

help with SMBD!!!
Dear everyone, I've been trying to set up Samba server, so that I can access the files from a Windows XP laptop. The problem is: after executing /etc/init.d/smb start or /usr/sbin/service smb start the status report shows that SMBD is not running (NMBD is running). Later, I tried to start SMBD with SWAT, but the problem remains. Could anybody give me a hint about how to make

samba-tool group removemembers, not working
> Hi Mark, can I ask just what you are trying to achieve ? Well, it's rather simple. I want to remove a domain member from the domain. Normally, I do that with ADUC, no problem. But for some reason I was having trouble with ADUC (since resovled, magically), so I thought I'd try the same thing using samba-tool. That's it really. You wrote further: > I hope you can see that

polr problem solved
I'd like to thank John Fox and Chuck Cleland for their help in resovling this issue. It turned out to be something simple, but perhaps others have had similar problems In my original data frame, I had 4 categories of race/ethnicity. One of the categories (other) was very small, and not similar to any of the other three categories, so I created a new data frame deleti...

Error trying to resolve symbol 'init_module'
Hi: I've just installed Samba 3.0.0 on FreeBSD 4.9-RELEASE, and it appears to work correctly, but I get the following errors when running 'net' or 'smb*' commands. The install was from source with no changes made to default. i.e. './configure; make; make install'. [2003/11/06 10:25:45, 0] lib/module.c:do_smb_load_module(58) Error trying to resolve symbol

failure to add a machine to domain
We put together a samba 3.0.x server to replace an nt domain controller 3 weeks ago when our nt servers were being hit by and unpatched/unpatchable vulnerability in nt. we went through numerous howto's and other documents. The net rpc vampire seem to grab everything fine. However, now when we attempt to add a machine to the domain we get a failure. looking through the log files we see

Hi, i'm running Samba 4.2.1 compiled from source on an Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS Server. ACL/XATTR is active and working. I tried to activate the vfs_fruite module and added the sample code: vfs objects = catia fruit streams_xattr fruit:resource = file fruit:metadata = netatalk fruit:locking = netatalk fruit:encoding = native to the share. In addition i tried the following share definition: vfs

Hi all, I'm having trouble joining samba to active directory. My samba version is 3.0.28a-35 and krb is 1.6.1-17.el5. It's running on centos 5, kernel version 2.6.18-53.1.14.el5. Desktop Effects -- questions/issues
Hi! I finally tried enabling the desktop effects yesterday. I'm using an old Nvidia card (GeForce 4 MX440) with, of course, Nvidia's drivers. this is on a fully updated Centos 5 system. Enabling from the gnome menu doesn't exactly work compltely, one needs to google around a bit to find out the remaining magic incantations to make it fully work. So, I've done that and it's

Andrew Bartlett, samba Think you for your reply. I know the process to resovle the problem now. first ,I need transferring and Seizing FSMO Roles to DC2 and then demoting DC1. After that ,I join the DC1 from DC2 with the fsmo role to the domain again. Right? Is there any other method that I can edit the sam.ldb file directly and add the dsServiceName entry of the DC1?

vs_fruit - can't write to share
I must reply to my own post. Changing the fruit:locking to "none" results in a working share. Netatalk 3.1.6 is installed and from the information of the changelog Netatalk 3.1.7 doesn't change anything to the file locking (except if you're using Solaris). Am 25. Asterisk and DTMF
Hi list! I have an Asterisk server (1.2.14) connected to a E1 line via a TE410P, and some PAP2NA connected to it. The PAP2 DTMF configurations is set to INFO and Asterisk to INFO too. At first, is INFO method different from RFC2833?? Well, I have two problems. The first is that when I place a call to outside, via E1 trunk, sometimes I get some DTMF tones and I'm sure nobody hit any key. Seems

Ruby Gems version issue
Hi, When I try to launch my ruby on rails server, it says my ruby gems version is not up to date. However it is. I''ve even tried reinstalling ruby gems to the latest version, but it still says I have an old version. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I''d be deeply grateful. Here is some code directly from my terminal (I''m on an ubuntu system):

samba-tool group removemembers, not working
Actually, I do/did leave the domain in the normal Windows way. But the (former) domain member computer still always show both in ADUC and samba-tool group listmembers "Domain Computers". So, I normally do a 2nd step by deleting the computer with ADUC. After doing so the computer no longer shows with samba-tool group listmembers "Domain Computers". I was simply looking for

FireWall Effects on Samba (Newbie)
Dear List, I have been wrestling with getting Samba 2.2.5 on Redhat 7.1 working on a Windows NT network containing W2K, W98 and Mac machines. I can see the Samba server (gargoyle) from the Win machines fine, but cannot browse any shares (Network unreachable error message). This seems a relatively common problem, but seems harder to resovle in my case :-) I have walked through the toubleshooting
