special tricks for developers box on centos 5
I was just wondering if there are special tricks people do that compile A LOT on centos? Do RAM disks help or something else I dont about that minimizes your compile time? I presently have and AMD x2 4800+ with 2GIG ram. Just curious if I can reduce any more time out of my compiles. Jerry

HELP! Group info problem
I just tried an install from my local repo (boot from CD 1, use http method), and it failed right after entering the root password setting with: Unable to read group information from repositories. This is a problem with the generation of your install tree. Reboot So now what? Is there something I can just extract from the isos? (remember I did that rsync). Is this caused by running

[OT] would any of you recommend a ticketing system?
Hi all, sorry for being OT but would any of you recommend a ticketing system? We'd like something pretty comprehensive to cover helpdesk and HR stuff as well as software bugs/requests. There seems to be a million variations out there.
