Closing bug reports without fixing the repor ted problem
[vested interest: I reported that bug!] I agree with this, a system that has x bugs still has x bugs even if you close them, I think they should be closed by houskeeping if they can't be reproduced and the person that reported them can't provide a way to replicate, but they shouldn't be closed because nobody h...

split with list
...9653421 geox 2007 54 55 The first thing I did is to split my data frame for CFISCALE. The result is that R has transformed my data frame into a list. The second step was to transpose each element of my list. repo=split(rep, rep$CFISCALE) repor=lapply(repo, function(x){ t(x)}) When I print my list the format is the following $9853312 1 2 3 CFISCALE "9853312" "9853312" "9853312" RAGSOCB...

Dear list, I'm using the Sweave function in order to get some report. problems to report indexes when I have two min value
Hi, I need to repor the index of a min value of each row in a matrix, but I don't know how to do that when I have more than one min value. Here is my example > dat <- matrix(c(5.4,4.8,5.6,4.8,NA,4.4,4.6,3.4,NA,NA,4,2.4,NA,NA,NA,2),byrow=TRUE,ncol=4) > dat [,1] [,2] [,3] [,4] [1,] 5.4 4.8 5.6 4...

Bug tracking system
...e reasons why I haven't really bothered setting up a bug tracking system for Dovecot: 1) They're all kind of annoying to use. 2) They all require a lot of stuff like PHP, SQL server, etc. which I don't really want to put into dovecot.org. 3) Probably most importantly: If people start reporing bugs in there, I'm pretty much the only person who will ever read them and reply to them. Currently when people report bugs in here, it's quite useful to have other people read them too. They may already know the bug and say they've reported it, they may have an idea what's causi...

Tablas de contingencia en latex

...correct. Saying that icecast is only appropriate for testing is wrong. Many people use it on a daily basis for production work. It looks like there's a legitimate hard-to-find bug in there somewhere, but on the bright side, icecast 2 seems to have _none_ of these problems. We might try all reporing our glibc versions, OS versions and vendors, and system load while broadcasting to see if there are any obvious similarities. jack. --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://www.icecast.org/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to...

Switch samba to LDAP authentication (i remembered a message on the mailing list, reporing success with Samba+XP using LDAP), but i did not make it far enough for Samba to authenticate users with LDAP, and i would anyway gladly appreciate help with LDAP, yet it's not my real trouble right now and i will hopefully cope with it using heaps of doc on the net. *....

rsync -rcv printing out filenames when content identical
...n -rc --delete backup/ mail/) again and again and again, I will randomly get sometimes sync of INBOX only or sometimes INBOX and Jira. Ofcourse INBOX sync is correct, as files where moved around, buy why Jira? Nothing changed there. If I run diff -ruN backup/Jira mail/Jira there are no differences reported. If I cmp(1) all files from both Jira folders there are no differences. How is it possible that rsync(1) sometimes reports (via -v option) that some files from Jira were synced and sometimes it doesn't? If I rsync -v -n -rc --delete backup/Jira mail/Jira I never have report that something...

Planning a dovecot deployment: issues and questions
...o experiment with the server, and they are starting to do so. I've also seen the "flags" problems others have mentioned on the list, and I do not think I could deploy to production with that bug affecting the users. I also have some issues which I'm not sure have been previously reported: One user (of my 4 test users) is occasionally seeing a bug in which mutt 1.4.2.1 claims to be "[downloading xxx/30724]" headers. Upon getting very near to the 30724 total, the total rises to something like: "[downloading xxx/50132]". And on and on. The actual number of me...

Sacrilege, but...
Hi all, I'm afraid that having spent yet another entire day floundering around in the world of icecast, I've really now got to the point of asking a difficult question. I set up an icecast server back in early 1999, and it seemed to work fine for months. We had a server crash here that meant I had to go and reget the sources to rebuild, and ever since then it has been nothing but

High CPU temp, suspend problem - xen 4.1.5-pre, linux 3.7.x
...ve still have problems with ACPI(?) on Xen. After some system startup or resume CPU temperature goes high although all domUs (and dom0) are idle. On "good" system startup it is about 50-55C, on "bad" - above 67C (most time above 70C). I''ve noticed difference in C-states repored by Xen (attached files). On "bad" startups in addition suspend doesn''t work - system restarts during suspend (still didn''t managed to get console messages - I don''t have serial port on this system). Note that sometimes system boots fine ("good" state...
