Moaning dog...
Here's one for you phone people....
An elderly lady phoned her telephone company to report that her telephone
failed to ring when her friends called - and that on the few occasions when it
did ring, her pet dog always moaned right before the phone rang.
The telephone repairman proceeded to the scene, curious to see this psychic
dog or senile elderly lady. He climbed a nearby telephone pole, hooked in his
test set, and dialed the subscriber's house. The phone didn't ring right away,
but then the dog moaned loudly and the telephone began to ring.

IAXy playing dead again
...o it are dead.
Same phones work connected directly to the phone line.
Cable swapped out, no difference.
Endless re-provision (with normal looking output) and power recycling.
This really looks like a dead FXS - except - this has happened before
and it came back.
Comments? Suggestions?

Checking fan state
I just replaced my fan in my nc2400. It was a 5hour job. Had to pull
EVERYTHING to get to where they have the fan in the thing.
Now I want to know if it is working. It is suppose to be
thermostatically controlled, and it takes time to heat up.
So how can I find out what Centos knows about the system temp and fan state?
It was hard to tell if I put the connector in the right way. At least

Back-up connection
Some weeks ago, I asked if anyone had set up a backup scheme for a remote
server.
