I am hoping that the wisdom of the group here can at least point me in the right direction. I have a Centos7 server that I need to upgrade php from 5.4 to 5.5. Looks like you are trying to install packages built for EL6 in EL7 I'm fairly certain Remi has EL7 packages for PHP 7. I have a VPS running C7. I ran a 'yum update' which included a kernel update. The yum update wasn't a total success because mariadb updates failed. However everything else appeared to work. However, when I rebooted the server it did not restart. I have managed to get the ISP's support desk to boot the server by selecting the previous kernel, and I now have access to my box again.
