* > Mobile Phone > Mobile Network
Ok I have a question. Seen it come and go around the mailling list for a
while but never really seen an answer that seems to sort it out.
What is needed is some interface from * > Mobile Phone > Mobile Network
Service.
At this point all the providers in AUS that I have found are charging a
Premium Rate for Land Line > Mobile Network services.
What I would like to do is be able to

Samba Print Server
Hiya,
Can someone explain why I am seeing chmod of W32X86/3/PSCRIPT5.DLL failed (Operation not permitted) in the log files.
It is a samba 3.0.1pre3 print server, which has the drivers on it for loading to the clients.
Here is the log file of errors.
Thanx in advanced

trusted domains - samba user authentification
Hi!
Background: We have a normal NT 4.0 Domain called AIRPORT and a Windows 2000
Domain (server is in mixed mode) called MAIL. Connected to the AIRPORT
Domain is a Samba 2.0.6 Server with security = domain. Both domains are
trusting each other.
I've a little problem understanding the user authentification with the
trusted
MAIL domain. I'll it explain with a little example:

RE: SWAT not working, can't authenticate
Did you make sure localhost resolves? Also, depending on your
/etc/resolv.conf, you may have to fully qualify the host's name including
the DNS domain. I seem to rember having problems with this, and some
combination of using localhost or hostname.domain.edu or using the actual IP
address of the host cleared up the problem.

) so that our customer service app. can pull up
customer data automatially. Asterisk passes along

to make it pass this info to my database server?
Any suggestions would be greatly

directory mask = 2770
Hello everyone.
I am using Samba 2.0.7 on a RedHat 6.2 machine. I wanted to apply a
directory mask of 2770 to everything created in a share. The root
directory of this share already has these permissions. I want to have it
so that everything created in a certain directory has the permissions of
the group of the creator.
As it stands, I do have the directory mask = 2770 line in the smb.conf

Memdisk Ramdisk survive reboot
Hi all,
I want to have a warmboot nonvolatile ramdisk to put and start XP from ram.
That means that the ramdisk and its content have to survive a reboot on a
"normal computer"! (No battery ...hihi)
First I make a try with Microsoft ramdrive.sys and switch /e in config.sys
from Dos 6.22 and with qemm386.sys but that doesnt work for me. Qemm (8,

Using 2SLS to mimic SEM with nested data
Hello Everyone,
I am familiar with the use of 2SLS to mimic SEM. I even used this approach once to estimate a model with a latent interaction term.
Does anyone know how to extend this approach to nested data? I have cancer patients with measures of cancer symptoms, functional impairment, and psychological distress taken at multiple points in time. The number of measures varies by patient and the

Portal behaviour - beginner question
Hello,
I''m still reading the Pragmatic pdf for ROR. I intend to port a small
web-based soccer simulation game that a friend of mine wrote in php.
I still have in mind the basic cart application that can be found in the
pdf. The main pages in the game typically display multiple statistical
views (past games, player efficiency, ...)
In my basic mind, this would involve calling

Ubuntu upstart script ad dc
I am running a samba ad on Ubuntu 16.04 configured as told in
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setting_up_Samba_as_an_Active_Directory_Domain_Controller
The server is running fine currently, but I have to manually start it
after every reboot. The link to the upstart scripts in the wiki are dead:

About hotplug/udev
Hello,
The current dependancy on hotplug|udev (>= 0.59) seems bad.
As far as I remember, last week, when I tried to install Ralph packages,
I got an error from hotplug/udev and I had to use udev from
backports.org
Anyone know which version of udev/hotplug we will have to depends on ?
Maybe we could simply rely on a recent udev dependancy, because afaik
udev now provides hotplug.
