recognize_path discrepency
hey all - wondering if someone would relive my confusion...
given a model called say Meeting and a route as
"map.resources :meetings"
in the console:
>>r=ActionController::Routing::Routes
>>r.recognize_paths "/meetings"
=>{:action="index",:controller=>"meetings"}
all works as I expect, but if I do

Nessus test issues with open shares
Hi,
My name is Joseph Villa, I'm new to the message boards and I'm also new to
Samba. I just got an e-mail back on our Nessus scans.. Here are the 2 that
are relivant..
1.) The remote host has accessible LOGS$ share.
ScriptLogic creates this share to store the logs, but does not properly
set the permissions on it. As a result, anyone
can use it to read the remote logs.

Client ... has fallen too far behind, removing - but only when listening to a relay, not when listening to fallback
I have an icecast server (B) which relays another icecast server (A).
Server B is configured to play a local fallback file when server A is
unavaliable. Both are version 2.3.3
When I listen to server B (the relay), while server A is turned off,
all works fine ie I can listen to the fallback track without problem.
However if I listen to Server B while server A is running then I
quickly get:

Dovecot and time (again)
I'm rehashing/reliving my issues from 2010:
http://www.dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2010-October/053528.html
In short, when calling deliver from vdelivermail (or procmail), and
delivering via NFS to Maildir, the timestamp on the file is GMT.? If
procmail or vdelivermail completely handle the email, the timestamp is CST.
The server is set to CST.
What's changed from the original issue??

Problems with simple samba setup
Hi All
I'm trying to set up a machine with a simple samba configuration. I've
written the config file with no problems, however any time I attempt to
connect to the shares it doesn't work. Firstly, the smb.conf:
[global]
netbios name = TEMPSRV
workgroup = LIPSON
map to guest = Bad User
[ittechs]
comment = Should not see me...
path = /var/smb/ittechs
read only = no

HiI'm fairly new to R and the list, so please take what I say accordingly!Far as I can see, strptime gives you a string in some specified format. In order to do any kind of numerically-based modelling with that, you need to obtain a number to work with.One way to do this is by getting the time with Sys.time() instead and coercing it to a number using as.integer():> as.integer(Sys.time())I

Woohoo! Finally, an answer which just happened to point
me in the right direction. Also, I spent a little more
time scouring through the compile errors.

The OpenSSH project turns five years old

Five years ago, in late September 1999, the OpenSSH project was started.
It began with an audit, cleanup and update of the last free version

pace, attracting a portability effort and, in early 2000, an independent
implementation of version 2

Organizing a Pre Astricon road trip
Hi All,
I am cross posting this to the Asterisk Users, Biz, and Dev lists at the
suggestion of David Duffet, so sorry if you see it multiple times.
As this year Astricon is in Orlando, and most of us are tech geeks in on
form or another, we are trying to organize a road trip to see NASA's
Kennedy Space Center.
I have been in touch with their group sales office and was told that there

Outgoing trunk is restricted to g.729 but need ulaw
...iend
disallow=all
allow=ulaw
allow=alaw
allow=gsm
allow=g729
context=from-trunk
nat=no
qualify=100
But the outgoing Invite has the following m line:
m=audio 17064 RTP/AVP 18 101.
This system does realtime which I am not really familiar with but the only
stuff that seems relivent is one table called sip_devices with 2 columns
disallowd and allowed. I think this should only affect the phones though.
For this extension the values are disallowed=all and allowed=g729;ulaw;alaw
I did try to search here and Google but I am not sure what to use for a
search string.
I turned on...

Whats the best way to do this?
I have an archive that can have 0 or more extra files associated with
it.
I would like to be able to edit the associated files info on the same
page as the archive info.
Listing the extra files info to the edit form is simple enough, but How
do I form the text input fields for easy (or automatic) pick-up in the
update?
Or am I barking up the wrong tree here?

allocate_print_jobid: failed to allocate a print job for queue lbrmgt
We have recently migrated from a package called Totalnet to Samba to
replace our file and print services. File services are working great.
>From time to time we get a call that printing stops working.
I have found a post stating that it may be a file space issue. After
checking, our file systems have plenty of extra space in them and have
never filled up yet.
Our current fix for this is to

No Audio Control Panel Implemented
...Ubuntu give a "key press" "clunk" sound via the Ubuntu active sound device. The "control panel" button only give a error popup box with "Launching audio contorl panel not implemented yet!".
searches on google, Ubuntu, and this site give no exact matches not relivent results (after much reading). No clues.
So lacking input from the sources it appears to me that something is missing with respect to wine.
Any help would be appreciated to fill in the gaps. I'm not a command line guru but can launch the terminal and do sudo.
