question releated to Makefile dependencies
I changed my configure + build 1-liner of wine :
$>export CFLAGS="-O2 -march=native -pipe -g -ggdb"; export CXXFLAGS="$CFLAGS";
export CC="ccache gcc"; ./configure --enable-tests; make -j 2
with respect to the CFLAGS and wonders now, why make after the "make depend"
step didn't found anything new to build.
Doesn't depend the main target from

r online
Hi,
I'd like to execute simple commands and functions in R through a
website, is there any service like this somewhere?
I only found http://www.osvisions.com/r-online/ but it does not work
(last update 2003) and the links to releated websites only give errors
(if I calculate 7+3).
Thanks for help & hints,

0.12.4 dies with call SetTlsParms before
I upgraded from 12.2 to 12.4 and found that my happy little eventmachine
processes die with:
terminate called after throwing an instance of ''std::runtime_error''
what(): call SetTlsParms before calling StartTls
Here''s what I believe is the relevant snippet of my code, which calls
start_tls() in the connection_completed() callback:

Hi Chandler,

Two different patches in Martell e-mail starting this thread: the win64 seh
(llvm) and the register names
Three more related SEH patches in another thread: one for win64 seh clang,
one for MinGW toolchain and another for unreachable prologue.
To clarify and allow proper reviews for the different patches I

Diablo 3 - Perfomance was ok but it's not anymore.
Hello all,
When i finally managed to run Diablo3 game thru wine, it was working perfect. No stuttering at all.
I've finished the Diablo3 on normal level and now i'm playing it again on nightmare level - but i doubt that's releated to my problem.
Since few days when i run diablo via wine i get incredible stuttering, the game is nearly unplayable but _nothing_ changed in wine's

devicestate / inuse issue with 1.4.21.1
Hi all,
we do have a callcenter system running with 1.4.21.1 - the agents are
connected used sip phones. SIP accounts are configured using realtime
(sip buddies) - and are configured with call-limit=1.
It is operating just fine - but from time to time it does happen that an
agent with an active call (inbound or outbound) does start to get a
second call offered. I have taken a look at the

Some more win32-changenotify analysis
Hi all,
I decided to check the responsiveness of the pure Ruby vs C extension
versions of win32-changenotify. I setup this little file generator program:
a = []
10.times{ |n|
a << Thread.new{
File.open("File_#{n}", ''w''){ |fh| fh.puts "test #{n}" }
}
}
a.each{ |t| t.join }
The pure Ruby version did not do so well. In some cases it

[PATCH 30/51] drm/cirrus: Fully embrace devm_
With the drm_device lifetime fun cleaned up there's nothing in the way
anymore to use devm_ for everything hw releated. Do it, and in the
process, throw out the entire onion unwinding.

Download to ext3 partition stalls
Hi ext3-gurus,
I was doing some testing of our 100 Mbit ethernet at work, and found a
weird problem which appears to be ext3 releated as far as I can tell.
The test is very simple. I use ncftp to connect to another machine
running vsftpd and download a very large file over the network. The
network is switched, and I get 8-10 MB/s transfers usually.
Now, if I download to /dev/null ("get

3.8-rc2: EFI framebuffer lock inversion...
On 3.8-rc2 with lockdep enabled and dual-GPU setup (Macbook Pro
Retina), I see two releated lock inversion issues with the EFI
framebuffer, leading to possible deadlock: when X takes over from the
EFI framebuffer [1] and when nouveau releases the framebuffer when
being vgaswitcherood [2].
Let me know if you'd like any testing or analysis when I can get the time.
Many thanks,
Daniel

Webbrick and/or Mongrels Dies Overnight
I have a SuSE 10.0 server that was first running Webbrick, and now
Mongrel. In both cases, I can have them running and used all day.
However, either one of them will go unresponsive in the middle of the
night for seemingly no reason. Being that I only use Mongrel now, I
check the mongrel.log, and nothing unusual there. I check /var/log/
messages, and nothing there.
Still, a request to

Need some help (been hacked)...
Hey guys...
I've recently been hacked ( or atleast I think so) and need some help
getting my company's server back up agian.
What I need is a complete directory listing of /lib from a fully
up-to-date 3.4 distribution.
Also, if someone could email over the libc file to erik.douglas (at)
gmail (dot) com that would be greatly appreicated.
Thanks in advance.

openssh-2.5.1p1 Linux port
...irectory along site the
extracted openssh-2.5.1p1 files. I ran the ./configure as:
CFLAGS="-O2 -Wall" ./configure --prefix=/opt/openssh
--with-ssl-dir=../openssl-0.9.6 --with-tcp-wrappers
I needed to apply this diff to get it to work. Would it be possible to
detect an absolute path or releative path (for the --with-ssl-dir=
option) and appand and extra "../" in the relative case. Or simply
insist upon an absolute path by bombing out of the ./configure
explaining why.
I'm not subscribed to this list, please Cc: me.

[seeking help in using openssh to communicate b/w unix & windows. URGENT!!!]
You might try the free SSH client, putty (from:
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/). It has a command line
SCP client (pscp) that will allow you to securely copy the file from Unix box,
under windows. I've used it and had excellent results.
Good luck,
Paul
