Which is better? Microsoft Exchange 2016 or Linux-based SMTP Servers?
...; that surfaces in discussions with my people.
> </rant>
Well said. I feel that too many people today have forgotten (or, more
likely, never learned) these lessons from history. People give away
their personal and supposedly private information too easily and, I feel
certain, will come to regret it (some already have come to regret it).

Posting Guide: changed link and other comment
...icy/copyright.htm
Has it been changed to the following?
http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/policyandsecurity/copyrightissues.html
(2) Regarding the following extract
`If you feel insulted by some response to a post of yours, don't
make any hasty response in return - you're as likely as not to regret
it.'
wouldn't someone who is `as likely as not to regret it' be indifferent
between sending a hasty response and not sending a hasty response? The
intent is perfectly clear but perhaps `you're _more_ likely than not'
is a more probabilistically correct expression?
Thanks for t...

rpc and wine
can someone tell me how to get RPC and WINE to work in conjunction with one
another? I have serious need to run an RPC application under linux's WINE
port. If I cannot find a solution, I'm regretably going to have to change
the OS to windows which I'd prefer not to do.
Thanks,
Chris

metadata
I think I'm going to regret asking this, but is there
any more information on Ogg metadata other than what's
at <http://wiki.xiph.org/Metadata>? Is there a more
appropriate list for discussing it? I'm sending this
to the vorbis list because ogg-dev seems to see very
little traffic, and none of the others seems...

does res_pjsip support ZRTP?
Hello. Do I understand correctly that the current implementation
res_pjsip does not support ZRTP?
http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-dev/2013-December/064401.html
Nothing has changed since 2013? P.S. I greatly regret that moved from
chan_sip to res_pjsip. Previously used very much lacking, and much of
the promise failed. Dmitriy Serov.

Alternatives to components?
I''m about to start work on sidebars for my app, but I''ve heard a number
of people express doubts about them as the way to go (they are slow &
apparently DHH regretted coming up with them components). What other
solutions are people using for this type of need (i.e.needing to call an
action/view combo from within a view)?

Apache RPM's
Hello all,
I love CentOS, but I am seriously regretting selecting Centos 4.4 for my
production hosting servers. The current situation with CentOS 4.4 and being
stuck at Apache 2.0.52 is a huge problem because of the new requirements for
the Credit Card industry PCI scan. Apache 2.0.52 does not pass PCI
compliance scans. which means no ecommerce on a...

KVM Questions
I have a system with two CentOS 7.1 guests. When I created the VMs I did
not have enough storage space in the default location
/var/lib/libvirt/images so I moved the default location to a directory
/home/vmimages. While this configuration is functional I regret creating
a new storage pool in /home. I would like to create a separate partition
to place the VM images removing them from their present /home/images
location. The /home partition is presently empty other than the VM
images directory so I can easily steal space from it (using only ~4% of

Hi there!
This is my second message in two weeks. I am regretting to get ride of my
R-1.4.1! In fact, since I upgraded to R-1.8.1 (directly from R-1.4.1) and
then to R-1.9.0 I am experiencing diffulties I never faced before. Professor
Ripley and Dr. Murdoch had helped with the "Fatal Error. HOMEDRIVE." Another
problem I am now facing is that R is no...

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] AArch64 Clang CLI interface proposal
I knew I'd regret leaving that option in for the MIPS port back in 99.
Basically this is the only acceptable way for mcpu to exist, but should
never have been added to the GCC aarch64 port at all since there's no
compatibility with existing build systems to worry about.
I would still like you to show this mythi...

Door not hitting me on my way out
...rebundling can be published in just the way people with RHEL
would publish their kernel patches, rather than presenting merely the
results. But such ideas have been rejected as unnecessary, and even
the suggestion was rejected with hostility.
I know very well how much work such projects take, and regret that I
was unable to assist further. My tweaks and bundles will now be going
over to Fedora and Scientific Linux, rather than here or in the
developer's list.

problems after gem update
Hi, I had ferret working wonderfully but i am regretting doing a gem
update today.
I had alot of trouble first installing it and was really happy to have
it working. The upgrade was from 0.3.1 to 0.4.0.
The problem is;
