Entry level IP phone
Hi,
Happy New Year to all of you!
I was wondering what would be the best recommended entry level IP phone that
works well with * if buying say around 10 handsets.
Linksys spa-941 and the grandstream gxp-2000 look like good phones but
I'm open to recommendations
Cheers,
Reggie

Using ngrep I can see incoming messages to the server (port 5060), but no
reponses from the server:
172.16.4.190:5060 -> sipserver:5060
REGISTER sip: sipserver
But if I use CLI I do not see these incoming messages.
Any help on this?

Why is there no Smalltalk-like IDE for Ruby?
I posted this to comp.lang.ruby and comp.lang.smalltalk, and my blog.
I will likely get destroyed, but it will be worth it if at least one
nugget of information helps the Ruby IDE makers.
-----------------------------------------
Hi all --
I shout my question to the entire Ruby + Smalltalk community: Smalltalk
has had amazing IDEs for decades, why not Ruby? Smalltalkers, Ruby
needs your help!

Mocking global variables in rspec
What''s the best way to mock global variables in rspec?
For the model group I would like database interaction.
For the controller group I would like to mock the behavior.
However it''s failing in the ExampleGroup and defining a before(:all)
is overkill since I only require db transaction for the model test.
Any ideas?
Thanks in avance :)

winbind, getent fails
Hello,
I am having a problem that seems to have plagued quite
a few people on the list,
yet I have been unable to resolve the issue by making
any of the suggested changes.
I am trying to get winbind to work, and have been able
to get wbinfo -u and wbinfo -g
to list the users and groups from the NT domain.
wbinfo -t returns secret is good.
I have shut down the nscd, but this has not helped. I
