Hi every one, I am using asterisk version 1.6.2...... i did not install mysql data base and when i tried to register a client from SIPp xml file..... it is registered.... My questions are 1. where can i find that registered client? 2. when i type the command "core stop now" it exists and the registered users are not shown why this is happening? 3. Is it compulsary

Hi all, I'm planning to build a VOIP solution for handling SIP calls coming from endpoints registered on a specific SIP proxy...I made some research regarding network architecture and found out that the best solution is to use OpenSips as SIP proxy for registration and local calls between registered endpoints and use asterisk server with a2billing for PSTN calls, rating, routing and all other stuff plus a MySQL database... questions regarding 40G Samba Server

We plan a new Fileserver/Storage Head with 40Gb NICs client and storage side. What would be regarding to samba be of more importance: multiple Cores or more MHz per core? Any suggestions? Feedback? Question regarding delete permission on a share
Hi, silly question I feel a bit blind and lost right now :D.... I have a share on which I can delete files (what I should not be allowed to) which have the chmod 755.
