Samba does not work with new AD groups
Hi all, I've configured a system to authenticate with an AD 2k3 domain (all domain controllers have SP1) using winbind. I have joined the server to the domain as well. I created some shares to work with AD groups. Here's a quick snippet of a share from my smb.conf file: [test] comment = test share for winbind testing path = /u01/test write list =

[Q] What might cause modification dates to shift later by an hour?
...es on each of them could have different modification dates. Also, even if the time on the computers were different by an hour (they're current the same to the second), it's not clear how the modification dates could somehow get re-dated. It's also not clear what mechanism could have redated them. I've almost certainly run fsck on the affected filesystems. Would there ever be a circumstance when fsck might second guess a file's modification time and change it? e2fsck is currently 1.41.4, though I don't know if that's the version that I ran when I ran it. However, t...

Steve, I am trying to get tx_fax to work. I am using a TDM2401E card. I have a 3 page fax and I only receive the first page on every attempt. I think I have enabled debug output below. Can you tell me what the problem might be? I am using snapshot from oct 26. asterisk 1.2.13 and libtiff 3.6.1-12 from redat/centos 4.4. I just installed Samba 2.0.3 on my Redat 5.2 system. When I point my browser to http://localhost:901/, SWAT prompts me for the username and password. I type in root, and then roots password, but the authorization always fails. I have tried accessing from an outside machine (which I would not normally do), I have tried changing roots password.I tried it both with shadowed passwords, and
